Location

The hotel is situated in Tsilivi, one of the most beautiful spots of Zakynthos. It is just 300m from the magnificent beach which is lapped by the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea. It is just 4 km from Zakynthos town and only 6km from the airport.

    The service throughout the hotel was excellent, very well maintained, the room was of a good standard (not dated), all staff that we interacted with were very pleasant and helpful, breakfast selection was vast, in a great location with numerous restaurants nearby - will definitely stay here again.

    Once again a really lovely stay at the Meditranee Hotel. Excellent staff especially the reception who give you such a warm welcome and eager to rectify any problems or requests you may have. We had a small problem with our room but Katerina was excellent and was able to change our room quickly and efficiently. We stayed bed and breakfast, the food was very nice although the porridge could have been hotter, there was everything you needed for a good breakfast. The hotel is beautiful and clean, I understand they have been updating rooms which I agree could help improve the hotel once all rooms are completed it will be perfect. The pool area is fabulous, so quiet and peaceful when we were there for 11 nights, we were there before half term and there were no children which being older we prefer. We love this hotel and the Island of beautiful Kefalonia everyone is so friendly and we cannot wait to go back. We recommend the Meditranee especially for the location it cannot be beaten the views are excellent and right on a beach.

    We had a very relaxed stay, grandparents and family with baby. All the staff are so friendly, but professional. They all work together to keep the hotel running smoothly. Very calm and relaxed by the pool area, lovely views. The wind got up in the afternoons when we were on the beach, but that’s ok. Easy access to the beach via lift or stairs. There are an assortment of tavernas just up the road for anyone fancying a change of scene. We hired a car locally to visit Fiskardo and Assos, both very pretty.

    Lovely hotel. Upgraded to a sea view on arrival and at the time, they could only guarantee us 5 nights out of the 7 which was fine. When we checked on the 5th day, we were able to stay in the same room so thank you to the staff who sorted this for us. All the staff are a credit to the hotel and want to ensure you have a lovely holiday. Cleaning maids were immaculate and breakfast excellent. We went half board but were not keen on their evening food, but Lassi offers loads of restaurants so we ate out a few times. Their beach is a 2 minute walk so if the pool area was busy, we just went to the beach. We didn't mind the short steep walk to Lassi and our favourite bar the Aqua Marina taverna is half way up. We finished our evenings every night at this bar. Argostolli is 10 minutes by taxi for 8 euros and is well worth a visit. You can see the turtles in the harbour between 8-12 and we saw loads at 10.30am, just beautiful. Ask the taxi driver and he'll drop you off at the best point. Shopping is nice here and they have some lovely jewellery stores. We couldn't hire a car for 1 day because the excess is loads of money as they believe the chance of an accident is high if you are rushing around. Hire one for 3 days 120euros there is no excess and complete cover. So we are going back again next year for longer and hire a car for 3 days. We will definitely go back to this hotel as we had a wonderful stay and stay just bed and breakfast. Also a mention to Lambros and Marianne in the bar, wonderful people. X
