Location

This hotel is centrally located at the heart of Argostoli, the capital of Kephallonia. Lying just 150 m from the central square, the hotel is just off the harbour road next to the sea.

    This is a delayed review as we've been so busy. We stayed at the Mouikis hotel in July 2025. This hotel is an absolute gem. It is perfectly located near the front of the harbour but also just around the corner from the main street which is full of shops and bars etc. It is also only about a 10 minute walk from the large square full of restaurants. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Housekeeping do a brilliant job, changing the beds regularly and cleaning the rooms to an excellent standard. There is plenty of choice for breakfast. Don't expect English bacon and eggs but there is always something to satisfy everybody. The roof bar has lovely views of the surrounding harbour and area but be warned, drinks are very expensive! We only visited once and found it to be usually empty.     We loved our time at Mouikis Hotel. The room was pristine and comfortable, the balcony had a beautiful sea view, and breakfast offered plenty of fresh options. The staff were warm, efficient, and always ready to help. The rooftop terrace with the hot tub made every evening special.     A lovely, clean hotel in a central location. We had a family room with a side sea view, there was plenty of space for our family of four. Breakfast was great.     Budget Hotel for small skinny people ….

    Very disappointed with the size of the bathroom, especially the shower, which was only 60cm x 60cm, and this made for very tight and awkward showers. Then we got to the balcony, which was no wider than 60cm, and was made worse with a fixed shelf/table that made it very restrictive, and getting past it was very tight.
