    Outstanding value for money

    rating01 Nov 2025

Myself and my mum were the last guest to check out because the hotel closed for the winter. We stayed in room 106 the views are breathtaking, our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels, there is a fridge/freezer and a kettle. Breakfast was nice and the staff are very attentive. My mum has arthritis, she was able to take a slow walk down to the beach but could not manage the walk back as it is uphill, this was not a problem because the hotel provide transport to and from the beach/square. The hotel is rated a 2* but I would rate it a 3* Alex is the nicest host he really made us feel so welcome. This hotel is definitely great value for money.

    Fabulous hotel

    rating13 Sept 2025

What a great hotel, Alex and his family work really hard and are so accommodating. Nothing is to much trouble. The rooms are basic, but are very clean and beds super comfortable and you only sleep and get ready in them The Breakfast is amazing, the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had, lots to choose from and something for everyone.Lunch is also good, they do stop serving food at 4, but there is a great restaurant down the road. The beach is not far, but it is all it is downhill. The hotel offer a free shuttle bus to and from the beach.Great location, with amazing views, there are quite a few steps to get down to the pool. They offer car hire from the hotel and booked us a boat trip.I went with my 2 sisters and friend for a week. We had a great time. Will definitely be returning and would 100%recommend the Oceanis

A small hotel full of heart and soul.

    rating09 Sept 2025

This is my second stay here, I came in June 24 with my two adult daughters and this time, just with my husband. I honestly cannot fault this hotel, Alex and his family work very hard to make your stay the best it can be. For a 2* hotel, I really don't know how they provide what they do. This hotel is high up on the hillside overlooking the harbour. So you do need to have good mobility as there are no lifts. There are steps down to the port by the side of the nearby Sunset restaurant and by Agrapidos Taverna or you can walk along the quiet road. It takes around 10 minutes to get down via the steps/road to the port. We never used the courtesy transfer to town or back as getting the steps in helps with all the lovely food you will eat. There is a lovely pool here, however we much prefer the beach and swimming in the crystal clear sea. This stay, the pool area was busy, so we just rarely use it. Our room was on the same level as the pool overlooking the port (room 101), the views really do take your breath away. If you want a basic hotel but one that has heart and soul, then this place is for you. I know this will not be our last time here, we are definitely coming back.

The view is worth the hill!

    rating05 Sept 2025

A beautiful view, a calm hotel, a lovely host family, couldn’t ask for more. We’d go again. Hotel is on a hill. The walk up to the hotel is tough should you choose to do it. Also lots of steps around the hotel also. BUT the views are to die for. Stunning! Took our breath away and couldn’t get enough of them. So worth every bit of the walk/hill. We walked down to Porus, short cut through Sunset steps, and got the shuttle service back up. You need to read the schedule in reception and just ask for the lifts. They will do a few runs if there are a few guests needing it. Porus is a quiet village with about 10-12 tavernas. A few gift shops. Beach was shingle/pebble with sunbeds at Fotis family, just buy a drink (we had lunch there the few times we went). Just lovely! A few yards from the hotel is a nice taverna and the hotel has a very reasonable and tasty snack bar for during the day. The rooms have a fridge with freezer, kettle and an honesty bar. The breakfast was so lovely and the family so attentive. Scrambled egg and stuffed vine leaves being our favourite. The pool was so peaceful, on our last day we were the only ones there, and before that one of three couples! The only thing that disturbed the silence was a large car carrying ferry 3-4 times a day, which we didn’t mind, interesting to view… and could have set watch by it! Our room was clean, functional with a hair dryer and shower/hair gel provided. Wasps were nosey around the pool and breakfast. We ignored as best we could and ate breakfast inside for a bit of peace. Transfer time was a little under an hour, we arranged transfers with Alexander at the hotel, €60 each way. Highly recommend this hotel.
