We stayed for a week and loved Olive Grove. Our accommodation was clean and overlooked the beautiful, well-kept garden. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food we tried was all very tasty and served with a smile. There was a safe little car park where we parked our hire car. Olive Grove is in a beautiful, quite rural area. Surrounded by countryside, especially olive groves! It is a peaceful place to relax and a good base from which to explore the rest of Kefalonia. I thoroughly recommend. Excellent place to stay

Beautiful setting with lovely bar area and clean pools, situated close to the local amenities including bars, restaurants, convenient shop and beaches.Nice, clean, spacious rooms with private balconies, excellent daily keeping and most importantly reasonably priced.My family and I are returning guests and every stay there is as enjoyable as holiday could be. Always feeling sad to leave, but eager to plan our next stay there.. we found that a week isn’t enough, extended to two and now we are discussing of staying even longer at this beautiful place.

Recommend but small issues need addressing

This isn’t a negative review more of a constructive one for the owners to noteThe complex requires much more detail to the day to day maintenance of certain areas. The outside showers desperately require an overhaul, the door locks on the outside toilet block need repairing, some or almost all of the loungers need replacing. The pool side area would definitely benefit from being pressure washed possibly on a weekly basis as spraying it with a hosepipe which I saw done a couple of times simply doesn’t seem to get the area clean There was a man present all day but he was clearly not interested when issues were pointed out to him, and in all fairness he was quite miserable and rude. The guy who supposedly had responsibility for the pool again had the attitude of don’t care and took to his duties I must say half heartedly The bar staff and cleaning staff worked tirelessly and were really nice and friendly.Like I say this isn’t negative as the establishment is lovely but merely issues that hopefully might be addressed by the owners In stating the above it still doesn’t prevent me from recommending and visiting again

Excellent Location, Lack of information in Regards to Accessibility for People with Mobility issues.. We did ask for ground floor only to be confronted with two flight of Stairs.Staff very friendly and excellent customer service.External of the hotel very clean , pool area kept very clean ..We're currently staying for two weeks , finding the Lack of cleanliness in the rooms a bit of an issue , So far our Rooms have been cleaned once since being here , and towels changed once . I've managed to wash the sheets by Hand , and have gone out to buy my own cleaning products to keep the apartment clean 😔.I think a few tweaks into the cleaning of rooms more regularly to keep things more hygienic would definitely be a bonus 👌I think the Air con is charged way to much , going on experience staying at other hotels within the Area. Lack of cooking facilities for Self catering definitely makes it a challenge to cook and prepare food , but again if improvements we're made then it would of been more of an enjoyable Stay. I made Our holiday Rep aware of these issues from the start of our holiday, but nothing was done.People may think this a negative review, but it's for the Management team to understand where improvements are needed.Would I stay again , yes if there was improvement.Would I recommend this hotel Yes .I would say if you have Mobility issues then communicate with Management to get ground floor Apartment.

Nice quiet hotel

Stayed here in August. Pool area lovely, never a problem getting a sun lounger. Pool quiet. The two staff members in the pool bar were lovely and work very hard. Everywhere very clean. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was clean, a bit basic but apart from sleeping we didn’t spend much time in the room. Bathroom had been refurbished (could do with a shelf or some storage for toiletries). My only gripe would be the charging for Air conditioning, as we had two units we had to pay double so within five minutes off arrival we had to hand over €140. Pool bar snack menu was good. Not a vast amount of restaurants within walking distance but we didn’t have a bad meal! Recommend George’s, Acropolis, and Fois was stand out.
