Relax, relax and relax

Palatino hotel was a little gem. Just 10 mins walk to main square. We had a fantastic sea view from room 220, rooms were cleaned daily and the entire staff at hotel were super friendly. Breakfast was good and hearty and the coffee too was great. The pool was lovely and clean and staffing around very helpful. It is a shame that you cant use it until 11am due to lifeguard staffing not starting until 11am. Kefalonia is beautiful you won't be disappointed. We loved getting the ferry over to the capitol on some of the daus and enjoying the relaxing vibes.I would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back again next year. Thankyou Palatino!

Beautiful pool with views across the bay.Spacious grounds.Friendly, welcoming staff, nothing is too much trouble. Very comfortable rooms and balcony. Plenty of hot water.Breakfasts, tasty and plentiful. Our second visit and it won't be our last.Short walk in to town for cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. Also the bus station to visit various places. We hired cycles a couple of days and walked to the local Lepada beach.

Lovley hotel just breakfast let's it down

We are at this hotel now. Happy to answer any questions. My opinion on this hotel after 3 days, into our 9 day stay is, staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean but do need updating and an extra chest of drawers are needed. Location is perfect just a little walk into town. Lunch time snack bar, the food and service is great but the breakfast in my opinion let's this hotel down and for this reason only I would not come back.

The location was lovely close to the square about 10 min mostly flat walk, the staff were lovley our only grip really was the pool opening times as it didn't open to 11am my partner likes an early morning swim and we were told by life guard Zoe he was not allowed, on the couple of occasions we did sit by the pool we noticed that she sat behind the bar constantly on her phone.The hotel is nice and what you would expect in Greece, but would benefit from maybe introducing a toaster and a variety of fruit at breakfast. The landscaping by the pool area was in desperate need of tidying up. Stayed in Hotel Palatino for a week with my friend. What a beautiful experience, friendly staff,so genuine,welcoming,friendly. Hotel was clean,food was good,Bar menu was fabulous &staff were amazing. I will definitely go back,Kefalonia is so beautiful, our location was only10mins from tge Square in Lixouri &from a small beach that only charged€7 for2beds&parasol,also had a snack/drinks bar.
