    Visit Skala. Stay at the Paspalis Hotel.

    We had a week's holiday at the Paspalis Hotel in May 2026. This was our first holiday abroad as just a couple since our early twenties, we are now well into our sixties. We had the best of times there. Everything about the Hotel was extremely nice. The Room was well equipped and the Pool Area, Food and Bar were lovely. The staff were always friendly and cheerful.We had previously been to Skala 27 years ago when we stayed at the Porto Skala Hotel. We had such a great time then that we always planned to return, but to a Hotel nearer to the centre of Skala. We have had numerous holidays around Greece and really love the culture and food.We recently hadn't had a holiday abroad for six years after funding two children consecutively through University. Last year I was diagnosed with an illness that had me travelling back and forth from Hospital for repeated appointments. I booked the Holiday to have something to look forward to. However I did feel a bit daunted about all the travelling as I still struggle with some aspects of my health.It turned out once there I was so relaxed during all the time of the holiday, at the Paspalis, and out and about around Skala. We did an excursion around the Island which was good although it was a very long day and felt a lot like hard work.I would without any hestitation recommend the Paspalis, and Skala.

    Perfect small & friendly Greek Hotel with the added advantage of being able to eat breakfast every morning in their very own Taverna overlooking the beach. Rooms and the pool area were kept spotlessly clean. I have to mention the staff , they were always friendly and helpful , especially the very hardworking lady at breakfast . But tbh they were all fantastic and a credit to the Paspalis Hotel. Thank you all for making it just the perfect holiday.

    Have been travelling to Skala for 11 years but always stayed in same hotel (creatures of habit) but decided to be a bit more adventurous and try a different hotel in Skala, Paspalis was recommended by a work colleague. So happy we made the change, hotel is so friendly and convenient for the town. Food is outstanding, many people not staying in the hotel use the restaurant.We stayed in one of the newer rooms no. 64 with sea view from your bed, Nice modern facilities with daily room clean. Room has everything you need safe,fridge hairdryer kettle.Great supermarket as you turn left from the hotel that has everything at a reasonable price.All the staff here are amazing and work hard to may your stay memorable. We will definitely be back

    A fortnight of pure pleasure and relaxation with good company and great food. Krisa and her team made Phillip and I feel well at home. Room was small but perfectly appointed for a fortnight in Greece. When the room became a bit warm in the second week, the air conditioning was a welcome addition. The room was serviced with bed linen changed daily. Our room (46) faced over the sea and the view was lovely. The food served in the taverna was excellent. Breakfast consisted of various breads, pastries, cheese and cold cuts. The hot selection consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, small cocktail sausages and beans and I also believe the chef would make other items to order as I saw fried eggs being offered to some guests. Phillip and I enjoyed the service and food so much we found it unnecessary to dine elsewhere so tried a number of dishes. I would thoroughly recommend the Kefalonia Pie, souvlaki (both chicken and pork), the moussaka, salmon linguine cheese pies (as a starter) as well as the fried cheese. All served quickly and at decent prices.We would have no hesitation in recommending the Paspalis Hotel and Taverna to anyone looking for reasonable accommodation and a stress free holiday with excellent company. We were made to feel like friends, if not family. The management and staff should be proud of their offering and of their beautiful island Kefalonia and I wish them all the best for the future.
