    What a beautiful, friendly , gorgeous, perfectly located hotel in Saumur! Walking distance to village,day trips to chateaus & other villages! Staff awesome,breakfast yummy! (Reserve spot for car in advance!) love this place!!

    Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Free parking outside. Lovely individual rooms.Our room had a bath which I loved. All decorated in typical French chique style.

    Charming Historic Hotel in the Heart of Saumur

    Hôtel Anne d'Anjou is a beautiful and charming hotel that perfectly fits the character of Saumur. The hosts are warm and welcoming, and the moment you step into the lobby you feel like you’ve been transported back to the elegance of the 1920s and 30s.The lounge bar is fantastic—honestly it feels like a scene from a classic film and is the perfect place to unwind in the evening.Breakfast is available for an extra charge beyond the room rate, but it’s definitely worth it. There is plenty to choose from and everything is high quality.If you’re looking for a hotel with character and charm in Saumur, this is a wonderful place to stay.

    We had a chateau view from our room which was lovely and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was quiet so we had an excellent sleep. The bathroom was clean with a nice shower. The hotel is within walking distance of the centre. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We are very pleased and hope to return in future.

    We had a lovely one night stay at the hotel. We were welcomed by a friendly receptionist and we were lucky to be up-graded to a bigger room. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The bathroom had a good shower with nice toiletries. We paid extra for private parking 13 euros but it looks like you could park outside the hotel relatively easily.The location is great as you are in the centre not far from the castle, shops & restaurants.After a good peaceful sleep we went down to the breakfast room. This was one of the best breakfast buffet we have had in France for a long time. Not only there were a good variety of items, these were of good quality. Lovely cheeses, a variety of bread, fruits, fruit juice, freshly squeezed orange juice, jams, eggs, pastries and homemade cakes. We would not hesitate in coming back to this hotel.
