    Peaceful hotel with warm service offering a good value, easy stay.

    Overall this is an excellent hotel. Mainly down to the relaxed atmosphere and warm service. It’s true what people say - the family and people who run it, make it. I can see why many holiday makers return year after year, especially the older generations. It’s an easy stroll into Sami, with genuinely fantastic restaurants all around. Food and drinks are okay, room and facilities pleasant enough (comfy bed!). Most importantly it’s good value . Our advice to hire a car and explore the stunning island, then enjoy the peace of this hotel. I also want to mention that we are a gay couple and were made to feel just as welcome the pensioners who make up the majority of the guest lift. We will be back.

    Warm, Welcoming Stay by the Sea!

    We had such a wonderful stay at The Sami Beach Hotel! This family-run hotel is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the staff truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The location is fantastic—right by the beach and just a 10-minute walk along the seafront into the centre of Sami.Our sea/pool view room was perfect: very comfortable, with great air conditioning, a fridge, and a kettle. The lady in the breakfast room was especially sociable and beautifully friendly, which made mornings extra enjoyable.Although we only stayed for 3 nights (as we were also visiting Ithaca and other parts of Kefalonia), the team really looked after us. We arrived early from the Ithaca ferry and they kindly arranged an early check-in around 11am—amazing service! They also organised our transport to Antisamos Beach and even our airport transfer.We didn’t use the pool, as we preferred the free sun loungers on the beachfront, but the pool bar offered reasonably priced and tasty food and drinks.Overall, this is a gem of a hotel—relaxed, friendly, and perfectly located. I would highly recommend it, and if I return to Kefalonia, I would definitely stay here again!

    A lovely hotel in a nice spot

    What a lovely hotel. A nice location, where you can walk along to Sami port for dinner. A very friendly family run hotel with three generations working there. We had a sea view, looking over the pool. The kids had a mountain view overlooking the tennis court. The facilities are well appointed, always get a sun lounger around pool and a very relaxed vibe.

    We have just returned from our 3rd Holiday at Sami Beach Hotel, which says it all. Spyros and the family run a fantastic hotel and do everything in their power to make your holiday special and that is why so many guests return. We will be back, huge thanks to all! Graham and Alex Birkett

    We absolutely loved this hotel. We got a sea view room, and it did not disappoint. It is a family run hotel, but has the perfect balance of the friendly helpful staff you get in a family hotel, mixed with the privacy of a larger hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, even when the owner transferred us personally to our next hotel area. The staff are amazing and rooms are spotless. Our room was also very spacious. The food was great. Breakfast is continental style and was a welcomed change from fry ups. The bar menu was well priced and had lots of variety. Very close to some local tavernas as well as the caves. About a 15 minute walk to Sami itself, which didn't bother us, but its easy to order a taxi at reception if you need it. We hope to return again. Plenty of sun beds and seating for everyone so no need for the crazy rush at 8am, and reserving of sunbeds isn't allowed either. Thanks so much for a brilliant stay. The hard work that has gone into this hotel is evident. Says it is a 3 star but worth much more than that with everything on offer. We hope to come back again.
