  A very average hotel. Unacceptable quality for its price!

  It is located in a very strange place in a maze of streets (without GPS you can't find it). The parking is almost non-existent (it barely fits 3 cars, the rest on the narrow alley). It looks like a British B&B and is more suitable for winter months. It has beautiful interiors and lounges which are however useless in the summertime as there is no air conditioning in the communal interiors.The rooms are separated by plasterboards rather than brick walls, so you hear every conversation from the adjoining rooms as well as being woken up by their alarm clocks!There were some safety issues in the room we stayed in, but even though we mentioned them from day one, they did absolutely nothing about them: 1) There were bare power cords in a plastic box above the air-conditioner that had its lid missing, it wasn't very high so it was accessible and an accident could happen – we also had a child. 2) There was a very old corner bath tub that once functioned as a jacuzzi that had all the plastic fronting off of it and was hanging off one side (you could see it’s electric wires beneath)!Mediocre breakfast which was exactly the same every morning (absolutely no variety).There were 2 fairly large dogs roaming freely inside and outside the hotel (even during breakfast hours).Polite staff, but there was no cleanliness at all. They just took the trash out of the bins and changed their bags. Also, they changed sheets and towels once during our 7 nights stay.

  This was a last minute booking due to Skiathos being cancelled because of bad weather. Brilliant people, the receptionist lady was brilliant at helping us hire a car and giving us some tips for the best beaches/places on the island.The restaurant staff were great particularly Katya who also helped us book dinner at a local restaurant. Hotel was clean, bedrooms were nice even thought our view was over a tennis court and a bit of scrubland {room 313} cleaners were great, shower head needs looking at, also twin beds not great, pillows a bit flat. Need to be given option of double bed really. Would stay again, it’s a bit out of the way but only a twenty minute ride by taxi from the airport.

  Only stayed for 1 night, room was clean & spacious, pool looked very nice but unfortunately we didn't use it. Hosts were very welcoming & very sociable, we had a lively night with them, very enjoyable 😃👍 A very decent view from 2nd floor balcony.

  Quiet, rural and basic

  This Hotel is in a very quiet rural area of the Island near the small village of Spartia. Transportation (Car/Scooters) absolutely necessary, even the nearest beach (small) is 25 minutes or more, walk away.Having said that the peace and quiet is lovely.The Hotel is typical of the Greek Islands, a little dated. The rooms are clean and spacious. Not enough wardrobe space for two people in double room. The air conditioning is good and they have a safe. The showers in the bathrooms have little room, especially when fitted with a screen (they don't all have one). When the hotel started getting busier towards the end of our stay the 'hot' water was not always available, but warm enough I suppose. The balconies are very small and where you have a bigger Terrace, this is sometimes outside the front of your room and may not be private.Breakfast was basic, buffet style. The hot food sometimes had sat around too long, but sometimes when asked provided on a call basis.They do also proved a limited Lunch and Dinner menu, again fairly basic.The Pool area is lovely and there was a lot of chairs and sunbeds and was mainly empty whilst we were there. There is a gym in the basement and a sauna near the pool which didn't work.With transport, everywhere is easy to get to, Argostoli can be reached in a car in 20 minutes or so, as is the Airport. There are some restaurants nearby, but again all need transport. the one in Spartia 'Cavo Liakas' is very good and with a 20 minute walk can be reached on foot.The family and staff are friendly and will accommodate requests and sort out issues.I had a good stay

  Wonderful holiday

  Stayed at this hotel for a week. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room (404) was comfortable and clean. Great views from the balcony, Mountains, St George Castle and across the bay to the Ionion Sea. The hotel gardens were beautiful. Great swimming pool. Breakfast lots of choice and well presented. Lovely holiday and we would highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely stay here again.Mike and Linda Maynard
