    Amazing hotel

    rating02 Nov 2025

This was our first time to Kos. We had an amazing time and the hotel was lovely. Clean, neutral decor, comfortable beds and good food. The kitchen area was good for self catering. We had a one bedroom apartment. It was a small resort but it had everything we needed and the staff were all amazing and went over and above to help us have a great holiday, including Poppy, Julia, Stelios, Kiril, Suella, Pedro (sorry if I've spelt any names wrong). The chef also cooked special meals for our son who has allergies. We were always able to get sunbeds and we often ate on site during the day and the evening. The food and drink well priced. It is possible to walk into Kos Town and it's flat but it we also took taxis which were about 7 euros to the town. If you need to buy food, there are a couple of small mini markets nearby and some bigger ones further down the road ( Konstantinos and ABs). There are lots of things to see in the town including the Agora ruins in the old town, a castle and other historic attractions. There are also different boat trips available. We went on the yellow glass bottom boat. It was only a short trip but it was fun and we all enjoyed it. Whilst we were there, they had a Greek Holiday (Oxi Day), and we saw the parade which was great. We had several meals in the town-there's plenty of choice for all diets and preferences and staff were always great. The island is really beautiful and we hope to return to Agean Houses again ! A fantastic hotel, would 100% return 🌟

    rating02 Nov 2025

A Fantastic Stay — We Didn’t Want to Leave! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We have just returned from a 7-night stay at Aegean Houses (Room 306 — Superior Room with Private Pool) on a self-catering basis. We are a family of four with two children aged 16 and 10.We had the most amazing holiday and would return in a heartbeat!Hotel & FacilitiesThe hotel is small, newly refurbished and beautifully decorated — modern but still with a charming Greek feel. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the gardens are well maintained. The main pool is pristine with plenty of sunbeds. Check-in was quick and seamless. Our RoomThe room was fantastic: a kitchen with dining table, separate bedroom and a lounge where the sofa had been made into two beds. The hotel supplies toiletries which was great after our late arrival. The bathroom was excellent — a powerful hot shower (a hit even with our youngest!), plenty of storage and even weighing scales. The hairdryer was better than my one at home! The kitchen was perfectly equipped for self-catering — even with ice cube trays. Lighting and air-con are controlled by a modern panel. Non-slip tiles throughout were ideal with everyone going in and out from the pool.Outdoor Space / PoolOur patio was spacious with lots of seating options including two luxurious sunbeds. Pool/beach towels are provided and can be swapped at reception.Housekeeping was outstanding: rooms cleaned daily, fresh towels daily and linen every other day. The cleaners were friendly and always cheerful!Food & DrinksWe didn’t use the restaurant but others said breakfast was good (although more expensive than eating locally). The bar prices were very reasonable — sometimes cheaper than outside — and the cocktails, milkshakes and smoothies were delicious. The bar staff were so welcoming and attentive.LocationGreat location with several supermarkets nearby — AB has the best choice and prices. There are also lovely bars, including beach bars, close to the hotel.Kos Town is around a 20-minute walk; we did this daily and enjoyed it. Just be aware of the very busy cycle lanes! For the end of October there was still plenty open, even though many places started closing around the 30th/31st. We had no trouble finding nice restaurants and bars.We highly recommend booking a boat trip — we did Captain Morgan and loved it!A Few Minor Things • Our room/pool was north-facing so we didn’t get much sun (especially in October). Next time we’d ask for a sunnier side. • The “private” pool isn’t fully private as balconies overlook the area — didn’t bother us but worth noting. • One bar staff member smoked behind the bar — common in Greece but not so nice for non-smokers. • Limited storage in the room — we requested more hangers. • A mirror in the bedroom would be convenient. • No cupboard space for food outside the fridge. If you’re a light sleeper…. Take earplugs, just in case. I wish I had! There was a family next door to us with 2 small children. They arrived the night after us and proceeded to just let their children just scream and shout all the time. They woke up at 6:30 daily and were not considerate about the time and mean’t it woke us up too. From speaking to neighbours they were heard in other apartments. However, in fairness, apart from this we heard nothing from anyone else so it may not have been the walls being thin, just the family. OverallA wonderful hotel with great staff, excellent facilities and a brilliant location. We would definitely return — highly recommend Aegean Houses for a fantastic stay in Kos! 🌟 DIAMANTO KAISERLI, Μάρκετινγκ at Aegean Houses, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you for taking the time to pen such a wonderful review of our hotel. We are delighted to learn that you have had an enjoyable and relaxing stay in our resort. Fantastic hotel, wonderfully presented with excellent staff

    rating22 Oct 2025

We are now at the end of a wonderful 12 night stay at this hotel, flying back to the UK on 24/10/25We decided to book a holiday to Kos having taken a day trip from Bodrum in October 2024, and really liking what we saw.We were greeted very warmly on our arrival by Stelios and Poppy, and right through our stay, all of the staff we have encountered have been friendly and inviting, not afraid to interact with guests and share general conversation and more than a few laughs. The hotel itself is spotless and modern, with the grounds and premises immaculately kept. The same standards are kept by the domestic staff when performing housekeeping duties with the rooms. The rooms themselves.....we were room 304 with a private pool and VERY spacious patio. As we are here in October, the pool isn't quite as warm as we would have liked but that can't be helped!!The food at the hotel is very good and reasonably priced.Location wise, it's about a 20 minute walk into Kos Town, where there are plenty of restaurants. Less than 5 mins walk are two supermarkets, although we'd suggest walking a little further to the AB supermarket, which has far better stocks and produce. The local area is starting to close down for the season now, although a couple of establishments are remaining open a little longer. It's a ten minute walk to Lambi Beach. We didnt know what to expect of this hotel, and have to say we all feel we fell on our feet with it.The only tiny gripe is the cookign facilities in the room.....there's only two electric rings, when ideally four would have been more suitable. If you're thinking of booking this hotel, we'd definitely recommend it. DIAMANTO KAISERLI, Μάρκετινγκ at Aegean Houses, responded to this review Dear guests,Thank you for leaving such a positive rate ; it is always a huge motivational boost to receive such a positive review. We hope we have contributed to a great experience in your visit to Kos and welcome the opportunity to host you any time you travel back to our island.Kind Regards
