  Excellent! Came to Amparvis with my autistic son and family he really struggled with a few things Steve,kosta Joanna and the staff were absolutely brilliant and understanding. Don’t be put off by the 10 minute walk to kos town as the walk is flat and easy to manage. I have absolutely no complaints about anything from getting to Amparvis off the bus lovely welcome from Steve with a nice bottle of cold water. Atmosphere was lovely very family oriented rooms are lovely basic with everything you need. Cleaners are always on hand and very polite thank u ladies very clean. Absolutely unbelievable value for money people who go there have been going for years and it’s understandable why, they literally cater for any needs going above and beyond very friendly family we will definitely be back.   Ive been going to these appartments 2/3 times a year for a little while now. Ive given 5 stars, even though there is no tv in the room, a bonus for myself and others, as we go out and enjoy what the place and Kos has to offer. The appartments has a great pool/ area, sunbeds not a problem, great snack bar and bar, and really clean. What makes it great are the friends that you will make, if you wish. With the welcoming Sourasis family, who run this venue, are truly genuinely friendly and will make you feel right at home. Dont take my word for it, read the revues, and give it a go, and you will find out why so many folk are returning every year.   Don't hesitate, Ampavris Apartments and Kos Island are wonderful places to visit

  I could use a good number of superlatives praising and to describe my thoughts about the Ampavris Apartments, but I wont. All I will say is, read the reviews and you will maybe get a picture as to why, I and loads of others, keep returning to the warm welcome that the Sourasis family offer.   Paradise Found. At least for me!

  All I can say is, please read the positive reviews for the Ampavris Family Apartments. They really do say it all. If you have and open mind, and an easy going personality, this place is for you. I can highly recommend this establishment for solo travellers, such as myself, couples of all ages, except perhaps younger people who may prefer an all inclusive hotel complex. My apartment was basic, comfortable and more than adequate. Hot water was always available, and the kitchenette more than met my own simple requirements.What really makes it worthwhile staying here are the people. The staff (I hate using that term here, but I have, just so that any readers can differentiate) and the guests, many of whom are repeat visitors. Steve, Costa, and Christos are three brothers, who along with their mother, (a beautiful lady who seems far too young to actually be their mother) run this diamond of a place, with the help of other people. Mrs. Olga comes to mind!Special thanks to Zeena, who kept my apartment spotless, a genuinely kind, friendly and warm lady. Always has a smile, and later in my stay, a Good Morning welcoming hug. Steve is the man who is mostly to be found behind the bar during the evening. Charismatic, friendly and he gives so much more than mere hospitality. If your are willing to talk to people, you'll feel like best friends after a single evening, perhaps even family. I know I did. To end, let me just add that I have already reserved my next stay for May 2026. That is actually the best recommendation and accolade that I can offer.See you then my friends.   Lovely basic apartments, very welcoming owners

  Wonderful last minute get away. The apartments were basic but very clean with cleaners coming in every day. The grounds are lovely and the owners very friendly, polite and welcoming. Additional cost for air conditioning which I personally think should be included. No tv’s so lovely quiet and relaxing feeling and we didn’t miss this at all (some might) We only had breakfast at the apartments as went into kos town on a night but we really enjoyed it and the atmosphere and service was lovely. No fight for sun loungers around the pool(not sure if this was because it was close to the end of the season) but great all the same. Pool very clean with a small section for children. If you have mobility issues there is no ramp access to the pool and would need to request a ground level room which I’m 100% sure that the owners would accommodate and the walk into kos town maybe a stretch but it is a nice steady 15 minutes walk and not hilly. Fiona the little dog always around and happy to be fussed. All in all a very nice complex which whilst could do with a little modernisation was adequate for our needs and good value for money. Bonus was the blue supermarket just across the road which,welcoming owners and reasonable prices.
