  Lovely Two Week Stay

  These apartments are run by a lovely family who cannot do enough for you. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and the owners had waited up for us and left us a bottle of water and some beer in the fridge which was most welcome. The apartments are spacious, having 2 beds in the bedroom and another in the lounge/kitchenette area. They are a little bit off the beaten track but it’s only a few minutes walk to the main street with numerous bars and restaurants. The apartments don’t have a pool but we used the beach or the pool at the Albatross Apartments so this wasn’t an issue for us. We had a lovely stay here and would recommend these apartments for a nice laid back break.

  We have just said goodbye to the lovely family at Denise apartments our stay was very enjoyable nice clean room,towels and bedding changed every few days and we never asked! Beer water and olives left in our room on arrival and we were also given spanakopita that had just been made, having no pool is not a problem as we used villa popi we had previously stayed there. I will definatly be returning to Denise apartments next year thank you again

  The environment is quite rural and very peaceful, there is a steep drive way from the road to the apartment. The elderly couple who live on site have very limited English but are pleasant, the gave us 2 beers and a bottle of water when we arrived, the lady gave us figs and other fruits each day from her garden, the language barrier was a struggle when we was trying to ascertain what time our transfer was picking us up. NO POOL but you can use the pool at Vila Popi which is 2 minutes down the road which is very clean and has a snack bar. No hairdryer in rooms, decor dated and not the cleanest of places, poo didn't flush, we had to pour jugs of water down to get rid of it. - embarrassing when you're with your boyfriend! Air conditioning is 5euros per day, bedding wasn't changed all week, we had to ask for clean towels, loo roll wasn't replenished, the main street was only 4 minutes away and had nice tavernas and restaurants.We would go back to kefalos but would probably stay at Vila Popi

  i read all the reviews prior to going too the Denise apartments and was not disappointed when I arrived with my friend. We were greeted by Nicholas and Maria on arrival and shown to our apartment. They gave us a jar of olives and had also put 2 cans of cold beer in the fridge. The apartments are spacious and in an ideal place and just a short walking distance to the beach and the village up on the hill. I had a cookery session with Maria we cooked up a traditional stew together. Everyday we were given fresh produce from their small holding. and other dishes that Maria had cooked. On the day that we leaving Nicholas gave us fresh figs from his tree. Ideal for all ages. Although there is no pool here there are plenty of free pools with in a short walking distance. I will be going back to the Denise Apartments next year or even maybe Earlier.

  Peaceful, friendly, good value apartments

  Simple, clean apartments in a great quiet location, just a 5 minute walk to the seafront, bars and tavernas. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us. The owners, Maria & Nikos are wonderful! so kind and friendly, they regularly brought us gifts of fruit or cake and presented us with a bottle of wine and some olives when we arrived. Their daughter Dionysia speaks very good English and is kind and helpful. They are truly lovely, generous people. Plenty of parking spaces. Maria can provide breakfast at an extra charge. Air-con available at an extra charge. The apartment is really great value for money. We recommend Denise Apartments for the budget traveller and we would definitely stay there again.
