  CATastropic….worst holiday ever

  Cats pretty much everywhere…..including the restaurant….absolutely disgusting how they are allowed to roam, beg and scrap at guests legs in the restaurant, generally on every visit to the restaurant we saw at least 4 cats…one evening a cat jumped onto a guests table and ate away at the food…the guest had left the table to get something else to eat….and returned to find the cat eating away…needless to say he was absolutely disgusted. The cats are allowed to jump up on the cart in the restaurant and eat and lick the collected plates and cutlery…one guest informed us that one evening a cat jumped onto the buffet area and walked over and around the food….A few staff members soon realised our disgust at the cats in the restaurant, and did try to keep them away from us…but for them was like fighting a losing battle.The hotel is definitely showing wear and tear…the first night we arrived, there was a plague of ants in our room…room service came, sprayed the area with a strong spray and thankfully that did the trick…the following evening there was a large pool of water on the floor, which spread behind the bed and to the door….housekeeping came, put down towels and offered us another room….we did decline to room change as the water issue didn’t bother us again. As an apology we were left a plate of fruit and a bottle of wine….Outside our room….there was always the cleaning cart ….it was such a dirty mess….and reflects on the cleaning level of this hotel.The restaurant is very lack lustre, we felt we were eating in a basic canteen, no deco ….no character whatsoever and the food is ok….if you’re a foodie and enjoy dressing up for dinner…this place isn’t for you…Wi-Fi is incredibly weak….Pool is ok with a decent amount of sun beds…could be a few more sun umbrellas…often saw people take someone’s umbrella whilst they were getting food….Bed rooms definitely are in need of a much deeper clean and an update…our shower and toilet were really grubby…toilet paper is incredibly thin and you are asked not to flush it down the toilet but to place in the bin, next to the toilet….Drinks were ok….the barmen were incredibly kind and tried all they could to Improve our holiday.Due to such an awful holiday, the management sent us an email offering us a free treatment and a late check out….this sums up their level of professionalism, email was sent one day after we had arrived home….Kos town is beautiful….worth a visit…but definitely not in this hotel.

  A clean and basic stay with helpful staff limited facilities are not much atmosphere

  We stayed at the Harmony crest resort on an all-inclusive basis. We arrived late in the evening so first impressions were made in the dark. We travelled as a group of four best friends unfortunately our rooms were not next to each other which we had hoped for .The rooms themselves with basic modern but clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom set up was a little odd with a glass screen between the shower and toilet and our balcony though had a lovely sea view didn’t get any sun a little disappointing. Extras quickly added up the room safe was €25 extra for the week and there was also a charge which was refundable for sun bed towels. The staff will definitely the highlight. They worked hard were friendly and did their best to help. However the hotel facilities overall lacked polish. The main restaurant felt more like a café and while they all inclusive food was fine some days were better than others and lacked variety. Salads were fresh drinks were limited to cheap local alternatives often overly sweet and branded options including Prosecco came out at an extra cost. The location isn’t ideal. If you like to explore on foot there isn’t much around the hotel so we needed to take the bus into town for a change of scenery. This isolation may suit some but we found it a bit too far from other amenities. Stray cats were a common sight even in the restaurant which might not appeal to everyone.Overall, the hotel felt more like a high three star standard than the four stars at advertises. It may be better suited to a younger market although not looking for any extras. The resort itself lacked a factor and while the staff gave their best the hotel is starting to feel tired and in need of some investment in summary a clean basic day with helpful staff but limited facilities repetitive food and not much atmosphere.

  Beautiful hotel with beautiful staff

  We're on day 5 and I have to say our experience has been amazing so far. Its such a lovely hotel, very clean, modern. Panagiotis has just been so accommodating and friendly, just the best and upgraded our room to a sea view for our honeymoon. He is now looking at a new request for us. Vassia on reception is just adorable, we love seeing her face in the mornings. Mustafa the chef is the best, they didn't have a toaster and I love my egg on toast in the morning and when I went down for breakfast this morning they have one! Nick on the bar and Is super friendly and patient, trying to teach me greek. The chambermaids and waiting staff are super friendly too. Its a short walk to the bus stop where you can catch a bus to kos town. Its just all round amazing. I love his place and highly recommend it.

  A very good and friendly hotel.

  The hotel is absolutely stunning. The rooms are very clean, towels changed regularly, the air conditioning works properly. We had a room with a fantastic view on the sea.The swimming pool was very clean and there were strict rules how to use it. The beds in water were really impressive. There were absolutely gorgeous animations with Natalia as well as a Greek night. The food was fresh and fantastic with a wide choice of regional dishes, sweets, fruit, vegetables. The canteen very clean and the staff friendly. They talked in Greek to me. We had an all inclusive option and it was really worth the price. We did not buy any drinks or food beyond the hotel 'because we were over eaten 😂 The managers are the best in the world and they were helping us a lot. We hired a car from the hotel and we do recommend it. We also used the public transport. The bus stop is at the bottom of the hotel. Peace and quiet, lovely staff, great drinks, wonderful locations, cute cats, tasty food, a very romantic time together 💝 Thank you guys for such wonderful holidays. We will definitely come back.   We were recommended this hotel by a lady in a travel agency and honestly didn't expect much but we ended up having the most amazing vacation! The rooms were so nice, spacious and clean. Also housekeeping personnel was so funny, my friend had a plush monkey mascot and the cleaning ladies constantly were putting it in different positions, which never failed to make our day. The hotel is quite small which makes it cozy and really atmospheric. Also the sea view is so precious. The food was really tasty, I was never hungry because even though I'm a picky eater there was always something to choose (the most delicious pizza<3). And what was definitely the best was the hotel staff. Everyone was so kind and charismatic and helpful. They made our stay such a special experience! We were so grateful for them. Overall, if I were to come back to Kos I would absolutely choose Harmony Crest again!
