    What a lovely relaxing 10 days spent at the elga.Lovely hotel yes the hotel is basic but it was clear and tidy. Cleaned everyday apart from Sunday maids day off but bins were emptied. Clean linen and towels changed once per 7 days so twice for us as we spent 10 days however if towels needed a change sooner just ask at reception and fresh will be given no problem.We had a toaster, kettle and a two ring hob plus cutlery and pots and pans etc . If you don't want to eat out.Staff are lovely and very friendly.Good pool area plenty of sunbeds and drinks and snacks are reasonably priced. Hotel is in a good location.Safe and air-conditioning you will need to pay for separately.Definitely recommend and will definitely stay again 👌 👍 🙂

    After reading lots of reviews, it looks like some people want 5* treatment ....never gone on holiday to expect toiletries and things provided....but this lovely 2* hotel, is so peaceful and relaxed. Family orientated, Stella, Petros and Leah cannot do enough to help you and if any problems occur and are reported as they happen, they will get it sorted....some of the hotel is still old, but it has the character from it being built....the hotel did some upgrades last year, which are amazing...the pool bar food is cooked fresh on ordering, you are always greeted with courtesy and a smile....would and will recommend to family and friends

    We stayed here for a week and had a nice time - ideal for a budget holiday, the property is 2* so don’t expect anything else.Good points:We stayed in a reasonably well sized studio with plenty of storage, big mirror and dressing table with good air con and comfy beds and a balcony. In a quiet location but only 3 minutes walk to beach and centre.Pool area spacious with a generous sized pool, plenty of sunbeds never crowded and pool bar snacks and drinks were good and priced well.Staff nice enough, not in your face just leaving you to enjoy your holiday. Air con and safe provided at extra cost.Not so good:As said many times in other reviews the showers are not the best at all , however they did the job, the rooms are not cleaned everyday nor towels replaced but that suited us, we keep the room tidy so didn’t feel it necessary to have it cleaned but all bins were emptied daily. Could have done with a towel change but I’m sure if we asked we may of got new ones?Was a little disappointed to hear that some of the rooms had recently had bathroom renovations and felt that we possibly paid the same for the the not so good ones?There is no courtesy shower room but a bathroom is available downstairs, the cost to book out a late check out room was €60 which I though was a bit steep but understand they are running a business.

    Very welcoming staff will do anything for you, great for families, we come back every year here sometimes twice a year, its just a 2 minute walk to the supermarket and not far at all to bars and restaurants. The rooms are clean and some of the rooms have been updated this year new showers which are bigger. The family rooms are spacious and clean. Pedros is a great bar man and leah who runs the pool bar is amazing too they will have a laugh with you and they are absolutely brilliant with the kids too. Plus the food is delicious! Thanks so much for another great experience this place is like a second home to us and we will definitely be back!

    Me and my family came for 2 weeks, we stayed in a renovated room and it was absolutely beautiful with amazing views, clean and big, the shower is lovely and big, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, they treat you like family. The pool bar lady leah is so friendly and smiley, helps you with absolutely everything you need, always serving with a smile, I will recommend this hotel to everyone! I will be coming back next year. Loved the experience and the lovely staff.
