Location

Situated only 50 m from a small sandy bay with one of the best beaches on the island of Kos, this family-friendly hotel is 300 m from the new Kos Marina and only 20 minutes' walk from the centre of Kos town and its nightlife (1.2 km). Guests will find restaurants, bars, shops and links to the public transport network in the immediate vicinity and nearby attractions include Kos Town Harbour Museum and the castle (both around 1.2 km away), thermal hot springs (7 km away) and the Askleipion (2.5 km away). Kos Island International Airport is approximately 25 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 4 single rooms and 69 double rooms, which are located on 2 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a TV room. Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room and a bar. Guests can dine at the non-smoking restaurant, which includes a separate area for smokers (high chairs are available). Half board can be booked. A generous breakfast buffet, a lunch à la carte and a comprehensive dinner buffet offer plenty of delicious variety. Staff are also happy to provide gluten-free meals.

Cheap nice hotel but book without breakfast and dinner

Average hotel, most staff was friendly. The poolbar lady Gracia was fantastic at het job and extremely friendly. Pool area looked a bit tired and needs some upgrades. First room we stayed was tiny but clean. no wardrobe but few hangers on a bar with a couple of drawers. Shower was old and half broken. 2nd week we had ro transfer to other building. Rooms bigger and up to date. Great shower. Breakfast was cold and boring. Everything cheap . Disgusting scrambled eggs. Some cheese and cold meat each morning. Coffee was the only good item available. Dinner the same, salads okay but otherwise cheap and simple. Only melon for fruit . Kos center 20min walk . Beach 2 minutes walk but all with pebbles so swimming shoes needed. Had a lovely holiday but wouldn't return to this hotel.

Rude Staff and Missing Clothes

We stayed here for 1 week and experienced nothing but rude and majority unhelpful staff. My partners shorts went missing and staff were unhelpful when asking for help if they had been found or misplaced. One senior staff member even started shouting at her colleague when the other reception staff member was trying to help us out. The food was awful with only a small amount of options and was cold and tasteless.

Don't waste your money!

I always take reviews with a pinch of salt & prefer to make up my own mind !!! Well this time I wish I had listened to all the negatives! On first inspection the hotel looked good. The room was a bit dated but the bathroom was tiny, & the shower turned into a bath due to not draining! The outside 'patio' area wasn't upto much at all and needed a good clean & paint , the patio furniture wasn't clean enough to sit on so we didn't bother. There was no safe in the room , there was a kettle, cups ect but they didn't provide any tea or coffee. When we initially booked it was bed & breakfast but we were 'upgraded' to half board, the food wasn't very good at all breakfast was disgusting, even the pastries were terrible, but the scramble eggs??? ( pictured).The evening meal we tried was no better and we were asked what we would like to drink with our meal then a bill was slapped on the table and you HAD to pay before leaving the restaurant.The young lady on reception was nice, but the other staff were rude & very unfriendly especially the senior lady in charge and the restaurant manager. One day we had rain and the it came into the restaurant causing people to lift their feet up onto the table pedestal! On day 2 our room lock failed and we were told it would be fixed the next day and we should sleep in the room till then! We obviously declined this and demanded another room , which we were given and it was a nice upgraded room although bathroom was still small. The pool area was ok but needs a clean up, and the beanbag loungers were actually filthy.The hotel itself is a good 30 mins walk to the center of Kos town and the buses if the arrived were full to busting. Safe to say we wasted £1300 for a week's stay in this hotel !! NEVER AGAIN ! Kos we will return to tho .

The food was awful. We were given an upgrade(wrong phrase) to half board. The breakfast was greasy cold and not appetising . The dinner at night was cold even the dishes that had just been put out were cold. The dining room although clean was soulless I thought I was eating in a canteen . I did see 2 cockroaches and people had allegedly seen mice in the bar. We ate out in Kos town 3 nights . as the food was so bad . I realise it is the end of the season but the sun beds and mattresses around the pool were broken and dirty. Very disappointing . The staff on the whole were unfriendly and did not seem to care . The entertainment was below average and was cancelled on 2 nights . The Greek dancing was good and fun. Rooms overall were clean and a decent size . Will not be returning

Writing this while staying with friends booked Feb we upgraded our room on arrival....we are more than happy 😊 our room lovely quiet which I asked for clean bed so comfortable nice shower bathroom. Hotel lovely pool are bar entertainment has been great last of season we had great greek night last night staff friendly and work hard owners friendly and approachable food is good we found plenty of choice very good quality happy hour good to. Overall are stay so far been very nice...we hired a car which has been great to see island.........just to say our 4 time in kos staying at various hotels over the last 12 years i would say thos at palm beach hotel one of best
