    Host Katerina and the other staff (sorry did not catch their names as I was way too relaxed haha) were so warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived which is very important for me as a solo traveller. Only stayed for 4 nights but will definitely be back for a longer stay.Location is Excellent opposite a beautiful white sandy beach with the most stunning sunset views. Just 5 mins to supermarket for essential groceries. 15 minute walk to main bars/restaurants/shops. 10 min walk to a couple of decent restaurants nearby.Bus stop outside takes you to Kos town for 2.5 euro there is a timetable on the stop and was reliable.I would recommend an organised bus trip up to Zia (mountain village with some of the most impressive sunset views in have seen)Plenty of sunlongers at the pool with drinks available at the bar. Rooms were basic and clean exactly what you need on a Greek holiday.I feel really lucky to have found this Gem of a place with a real family run vibe. Tingaki is the perfect laid back get away.

    Horrible dirty room

    Ok we didn’t get a modern room, but there’s no excuse for being dirty.The bathroom, the shower head, disgusting..black and mouldy a health risk.The intermittent hot water, the flat towels that smelt of nothing as was the bed linen..The rock hard beds, the floor , my feet were black don’t think floor washed whilst there..the toilet never smelt of any bleach or anything.TUI should have payed us for staying here.

    Lovely quiet apartments. Spotlessly clean. Great location right on the beach. Lovely big bed, free aircon, safe and wifi. About a 10/15 min walk into the main street in Tigaki. Bus stop to Tigaki and Kos Town right outside of the apartments. Plenty on sunbeds and no need to reserve them. Would definitely return.

    My husband and I stayed at the Jonathan Appartments, 6th to 13th July 2025. We thoughly enjoyed our stay here and Tingaki, and we lucky enough we are coming back on the 30th August for a week again. Unfortnately these appartments we full, however we are stopping near here Irina Beach Hotel, a little further out but will pop in and see the staff who ran these appartments. Lovely peopl and made us feel welcome. Rooms we kept clean and very spacious. I king Size Bed and a single, which was quite big. Towels and bedding change regualy and the shower was lovel and hot. Very quiet around the pool area and no music blasting out, so it was nice to read. Pool area, plenty of sun lounges , as the beach was straight over the road. There was bus stop outside the appartments which was handy. The negative point we had to make the bus time table outside the Jonathan Appartments was incorrect. for Example timetable would say 6:30pm when it would turn up at 7:30pm. Beware of this if you wanting to go to Kos Town etc. Also having to keep crossing the road as the bus turns round and you seem to be running backwards and forwards. We met some really nice people. Also if you are on a late flight. When you leave your room at 12 midday, there are no facilities to change re shower. There is a toilet. We were fortunate as a couple from Sheffield, allowed us to use there shower. Thank you. Overall it was a fab holiday, nice food, nice people. Great Trips. Looking forward to our return end of Aug. Happy Holidays :) Definitely would stay again in the near future.

    Family holiday at Johnathan Apartments Tigkaki.

    We had a two week holiday staying at the Johnathan Apartments. The rooms were clean and we had plenty of clean towels and sheets. The staff went above and beyond to help us have a fantastic holiday. We would defiantly return. The beach is adjacent to the apartments and is Sandy and uncrowded. The bar offers good beer and snacks, pizza, hot dog and chips and if ordered in advance a wonderful full English breakfast.
