Location

The apartments are located 100 metres from Kamari Beach and very close to local bars, restaurants and shops. Kos Island International Airport is about 17 km away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 6 apartments and 10 double rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, stovetop, microwave and tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-accessible rooms can also be booked. The apartment hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. There is a poolside snack bar as well. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including golf, billiards and darts.

Meals

A restaurant, a café and a bar are available to guests. A fortifying breakfast is served daily.

    The location of the Kontessa Apartments really can't be beat. The most amazing views (especially of the beautiful sunrise) and Just a minute walk from the sea, bars, restaurants, beaches etc. The apartments are bright, clean, have really comfortable beds/pillows and good sized private balconies/terraces. Bed linen and towels are good quality, air con, safe, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board are also included.  The kitchenette is the usual simple style, kettle toaster etc and enough to prepare drinks and snacks. We always had lots of hot water in the shower (it can flood a little but if you keep the curtain in the right place it's fine) The pool is a really good size and always quiet, it looks lovely all lit up at night. The snack bar wasn't open so we didn't see any staff during our stay but that suited us as we like peace and quiet (check in is via a note on the gate - super easy). There is  a cat feeding area behind the gate at the steps so please do feed them, some are just kittens. Cleaning was nearly every day, we had three lots of clean towels in 8 days and bed linen was changed halfway through the week. There is free wifi which did drop a few times but most of the time was good quality and speed. The only negatives I can say is the grates around the pool edge need to be cleaned and the freezer part of the fridge didn't actually freeze anything but that's it. All in all we were really very happy with our choice of accommodations and will definitely return.

    The apartments are easy to find, has very friendly staff, very clean rooms and pool, and in a very good location just a minute away from the sea and from the shops and supermarkets. Enjoyed it a lot and would highly recommend! Will come back for sure!

    Awful experience in the kontessa the guy in the bar pop eye was so rude. The kitchen area is so unhygienic we couldn’t think of ordering food from there think twice if using the pool with children they only like Adirondack use cos children to loud with laughter never again will I be going there

    I was there when the previous review was written and the way that family was treated was disgusting. There were 4 children 3 of them under the age of 5 and they were just being kids. Having fun making noise as they do. Nothing more than that and certainly nothing to complain about. To be asked to leave because of the noise of children playing is a disgrace. There was a sign outside the front that stated all welcome to use the pool why put this up if children are clearly not welcome. Not sure who was complaining but if you don’t want to hear children then you should book an adult only hotel. The comments about the kitchen that was written I also back up I looked over at what is supposedly a kitchen and the grease and burnt on food on what is meant to be panini press/grill must have been there for years. I won’t be returning

    Disgusting pool bar and popeye rude and unhygienic

    Has a lovely pool if children are allowed to be children kicked out of the pool for the kids having fun literally doing nothing wrong but playing ‘piggy in the middle’ with the adults. Then popeye told us to leave the pool we asked why they are just playing being children he stated he had three children and he then accused us for not raising our children right, what gives him the right to say if we have raised our children correct. The kitchen area at the pool bar is disgusting so unhygienic flys food left out on the side, he sits in the bar areas smoking and drinking beer.Runs out of food no chips no coffee doesn’t have ice creams. Sign at the entrance says free pool to use all welcome spend at the bar 10 euro, how wrong never again come every year sometimes twice to kefalos and there is sometimes 11 of us, big mistake!!
