  On arrival, the owner launched into a shouting verbal assault on me. I had booked two rooms - one for me and one for my mum and he was insisted we had to share. After some time standing my ground (i.e. Refusing to be bullied and intimidated) and after making him phone the booking company (even though I had voucher that clearly said two rooms), he begrudgingly gave us a second key. One of the rooms had no bedclothes and has filthy - we were left to sort this out ourselves. It turned out the hotel was virtually empty so there plenty of rooms he could have allocated us.The next day the cleaning staff apologised - they said that the paperwork the hotel said we had booked two rooms, the owner and refused to allocate two to us and had shouted at them when they tried. We received no apology from the owner. In fact, he didn't speak to us for the whole wee - he just glared malevolently at us every time he saw us. The food is disgusting, especially breakfast. We didn't bother after one day. The rooms are tired and dated and poorly maintained (noisy dripping cisterns etc)The wifi sometimes work in reception. It doesn't anywhere else. The location is good, very near the beach. The cleaning staff are warm and friendly.

  There is a lot of words said, but i'll repeat- Junk food (but it better then nothing: in Marmari canteen prices is like in Helsinki, but taste and size like in Petersburg - if you want to eat something good just go the Kos town on Zia)- Rooms like doghouse. Everything inside flooding, leaking, trembling, scrathed and so on- Air conditioner is so weak, that almost useless- Mosquito and ants at the first floor- Service is awfulOnly few benefits - hotel is small and very close to the sea. Sea is really excellent.If you are without kids, going spend all time at the beach and hotel is only for crack a pair of cold ones before sleep - then hotel could be ok because price is reasonable. But if you with small kids or expect something more - no way here.

  Awful - avoid at all costs

  Currently stuck at this hellhole known locally as Blue Jay Hotel. Greeted upon arrival by rude and inhospitable manager who wouldn't even give us a sheet for a bed. Sunmaster have shamefully ignored our pleas to be moved and I am having to sleep on a mattress covered in somebody else's vomit. Food is equally disgusting and we have to eat out despite being half board. Tinned vegetables and stale bread on the menu every day. Unstable bunk beds, broken door lock, bathroom floods, room the size of a rabbit hutch.Our long awaited holiday is ruined and even CEO of Sunmaster is ignoring our pleas. If we'd paid for a cheap holiday we'd expect a few hiccups but this was an expensive choice that we made after reading inaccurate descriptions provided by our holiday company. Avoid if you possibly can.

  The location: is ideal in a quiet area next to the awesome beachFood: must be the worst I've ever eaten the breakfasts was the same every morning processed meat and cheese. no drinks included with evening meals not even water. Rooms: are ideal small could do with renovating but clean. We had to move rooms as aircon leaked through the ceiling and tripped the lights. Staff: all staff are friendly except for the owner who was very rude to us on several occasions. Told us that we had missed our bus and to get a taxi and leave! Although the bus was not arriving until 2 hours later. Marimari: good area for a quiet chilled holiday night lift however not great but tigaki 20 minutes walk a bit more lively. A great base just to sleep nothing else

  It´s really enough

  It was our fitst holiday with my gf so it was quite simple. The hotel is simple, litlle bit older. Don´t expect much but it´s enough. Rooms were clean, with balcony. Ceaned every day, the staff was very firendly, always smiling.Food was tasty, like homemade. The cook was very satisfied, cause all the people were cheering him. Pool was always clean. he beach not so far away, about 50- 100 meters. It´s an island, so little bit windy. Water little bit colder but clear. some disco there or u can stay at bar. The hotel bar was place for Guy a french mate, very friendly and we liked him very much.nice one low cost holiday.
