  Comfort by the Sea

  The hotel's position is excellent, directly adjacent to the beachfront and only 10 minutes walk from the Intra Muros. The physical facilities, bedroom, restaurant and bar are comfortable and well maintained. It was however the friendliness of the staff, in French and English, which really made the stay so enjoyable. At a practical level the underground car park was very useful particularly as there are several EV charging points with it.   Four nights with family in Saint Malo

  We spent four nights at Nouveau Monde at the end of August while visiting Saint Malo. The location is perfectly situated and we enjoyed pleasant strolls to the intra muros during the day and evening either along the promenade or on the beach. The hotel was perfectly clean and the staff were excellent. Parking underground was easy with access to the elevators straight to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and enjoyable. My only gripe was that our 'sea view' room had a balcony on the side of the hotel. If I would return, I'd opt for a non sea-view as it wasn't worth the extra cost in my opinion.   You can't beat the location

  You can't beat the location! We loved it because it was not in the old city (which can get very crowded), but right on the water and close enough to easily walk to the old city. We had a room with a balcony (partial view of the sea which was plenty). The sunset was spectacular from our balcony. The restaurant was expensive (we had lunch) but superb!   Lovely team and warm welcome from front desk. Room was dated, plus socket hanging out of wall and aircon not working properly. Unable to get place in restaurant - no suggestion was to where else to eat - just a firm “Non”. Had room service - was OK but nothing special.   An excellent hotel with outstanding staff

  Purpose built hotel in an excellent location (waterfront, wonderful view of walled town, islands and sunset) with great staff, restaurant and facilities.Food was excellent, whether a buffet breakfast or a la carte fine dining. We eat breakfast at peak time, but waited comfortably for less than five mins to be seated, all food choices were well stocked and looked fresh etc.Dinner on Saturday evening was a great experience, from pre dinner drinks in the well appointed bar to the excellent food and service in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble and the front line view of the sunset extra special.We had a well equipped and spacious room in 4th floor, allowing us to corner view of the beach and walled town (made the most of the nespresso and tea machine).A good amount free in street parking nearby but we took advantage of the secure parking beneath the hotel which was well located etc. especially with a very full car.
