Location

Located at the southeast cost of Kos Island, in Agios Fokas gulf, the hotel offers breathtaking views over the sea and the Turkish coast line, and quiet surroundings, being still close to the city of Kos.

Facility

The resort was modernised in 2023. 254 non-smoking rooms, including 21 suites and 231 double rooms, are available to guests in a 2-storey main building and 9 auxiliary buildings. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Services such as a baggage storage service and a cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided to guests. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a TV room. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (no extra charge). Other services include a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service and a hairdresser.

Rooms

Air conditioning (no extra charge) ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the mountain view from a balcony or terrace. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. Other features include a telephone, a flatscreen television with satellite channels and WiFi (no extra charge). Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are provided. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms.

Sport

Plenty of active recreation awaits guests in the pool area's 3 outdoorpools. No matter the weather, swimming is always a possible in the indoor pool. There is also a special swimming area just for kids. Parasols and comfortable sun loungers are available on the sun terrace. For guests who wish to keep active, tennis and basketball are available. With water aerobics or, for a fee, water skiing, windsurfing, jet skiing, motorboat rides, banana boat rides and snorkelling available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym, table tennis and yoga. Various wellness options, such as a spa, a sauna, a beauty salon and massage treatments, are offered for a fee. Entertainment options and leisure facilities include a kids' club and live music.

Meals

The dining area includes a lobby bar. Guests can dine in a cosy atmosphere at the restaurant (à la carte and high chairs). Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. The resort offers a wide range of catering options. Half board and all-inclusive can be booked. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras like diet meals, gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes, in addition to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Lunch is served to all-inclusive guests only. Special meals, including lactose-free food, are also available.

    I’m not sure where to start with this hotel. Was it awful? No?Was it up to standard, also no.We had 2 rooms with 3 people in each. We stayed for a week all inclusive.Every day there was an issue, no water restocked, no towels. Or 2 towels for 3 people. There was also no toilet roll left on one day. Reception were always quick to rectify, but I didn’t appreciate a trip to reception to deal with daily. The bathrooms in the rooms offer no privacy, they are frosted glass but you can see the outline of everything. Also there are large gaps in the doors etc so you can hear and see EVERYTHING. Not great when you are sharing a room with your 9 year old. See picture of the towel on the inside of the glass.There are loud alarms on doors if left open, they did not work properly so you would hear these going off into the early hours of the morning when people came back to their rooms. The toilets by the pool were never particularly clean, there was often no toilet roll and some doors without locks. The floors were generally dirty and bins over flowing.The reception toilets were always immaculate.The staff in the restaurant were all lovely and remembered our morning coffees.The bar staff again were all friendly and replenished your drinks when needed.The lady at the beach bar was an absolute superstar and my son aged 9 loved her. She was always helpful and chatty, while working on her own in the sun. A credit to the hotel.The rooms were serviced daily. It seems all they did was make the beds, nothing else was cleaned (sink, shower, toilet)We ate in Soya one night (the Asian fusion) the food was incredible, the service impeccable. I highly recommend you try this restaurant if you can!There was always a good selection in the buffet. It was luke warm at best which did let it down a little. Lots of fresh fruit available at every meal. Try the breakfast pretzels, so good!Evening entertainment was good. We saw the duo ‘the teachers’ one night. What talent!Beach is stunning. Sunbeds are very packed together and impossible to get one after 10am.Would I recommend this hotel? Possibly not. I don’t think it’s quite up to standards, it is Mose definitely not a 5 star, although it wouldn’t take much to get it there!

    We are leaving today we stopped in room 1121 and it was very nice and cleaned everyday the cleaners could not do enough for you the food is wow there is something for everyone fresh and hot the bar staff worked hard to serve everyone even the staff on reception was very helpful with any problems I would stop here again top hotel

    We have just had a fabulous week at this hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Special mention to Virginia in the restaurant and Georgia the cleaner who always had a lovely smile and good morning. Our room was spotless -room 1721 which had amazing views. We had no issues getting drinks promptly. The food in the main restaurant was fresh and varied. We ate in the Mediterranean restaurant for our anniversary. The food and the view were both superb. I was slightly anxious having read some reviews but its a great hotel and the staff are lovely.     Me and my partner stayed for 7days holiday at the Michelangelo hotel and resort the staff were lovely and welcoming. Service was excellent and the resort was great and had amazing views in general. The pools were exceptional and the food options had an excellent variety. We went for a couples massage in there spa area and it was exceptional service and very warm and welcoming by Mia poladishvili. Me and my partner were both relaxed and made comfortable and Mia and her colleague were very warming. The treatment was a full body massage and very stress free. This hotel also had its own private beach and bar which also exceeded my expectations We would definitely stay again.
