  Rocky start but great holiday

  We stayed as a family of 4 last week. Two kids under 10. First impressions of the hotel were quite overwhelming, its a big place. We had nice large family suite which had a sea view but the noise from the bar went on for hours and the aircon unit was knackered and kept me awake. The rooms also lack any art work or design they are quite plain. The buffet was busy and i was beginning to regret our booking. However, Mikka the assistant manager was fabulous and took all of our issues on board and sorted them instantly which i was not expecting. We moved rooms to a quieter location but still a fab view. Mikka allowed us to eat in the beach restaurant for breakfast and meals which instantly felt more 5 star for us, less busy and the view are lovely. The food was very good in both the buffet and beach bar. We did go and look at blue dome and summer palace, which aestectically looked better as more modern, but in hindsight we felt Norida was the best of the Mitsis in this area. One thing that needs a bit more thought is the night entertainment as its a short and once they are finished there is nothing much going on! I will say Mikka is a true gem, who nothing was too much to make our stay better, we have never had management quite as proactive. She even collects the emoty glasses around the pool so works at all levels. If you are looking at all the Mitsis hotels in the area then Norida outshines them all.   ABOVE AND BEYOND ESPECIALLY THE FOOD!

  This beautiful hotel sits in palm filled gardens around pools of many shapes and sizes with something to suit everyone. It even has its own sand beach around 1 for the younger guests. Add to that the luxurious padded lounge’s day or 2 spent here is a must. Further down the path towards the beach is another pool complete with bar.The beach also does not disappoint with more lounges and umbrellas and the most gorgeous furnished beach bar on an elevated level above the sand. Up by the pool there is a Mojito Bar which does other types of drinks too. If you go there on an evening Altin will look after you managing any Q,s to perfection. He makes the best Spicy Margarita!Anyway I digress and the main reason we love coming here is for the food! The buffet offers an ample selection at all meals but as we are foodies we love the choice of the 3 A La Carte Restaurants overlooking the beach.In such a stunning setting the restaurant is split into 3 different types so you have a lot of choice depending on what you want to eat. ASIAN, SMOKEY GRILL AND BIG BLUE FISH. We were lucky enough to try them all and we were not disappointed! This year Smokey Grill offers some Greek variations on its menu so we chose, Keftedes and Beef Carpaccio as starters. I have to say that the Keftedes were the best I have eaten anywhere.Mains for me was my go to favourite Moussaka. It was beautifully presented in an individual cooking pot. My husbands main was the new Confit Lamb Shoulder which was so tender.We wanted a light dessert so George the amazing Maitre D chose us a Kadaife Pagoto which we insisted we would share. The menu on the Mitsis Norida website gives full details of each dish so you can have a preview before you go.Our next visit was to Ni Hao Asian. I wanted a light starter so I chose California Sushi which was just the right amount. Meat Eater hubby chose the BBQ spare ribs which came with rice so if you choose this BE hungry.Both of our mains were Peking Duck which is now similar to what we get in the U.K. whereas last year it was sliced duck breast fillet. My only wish was that there was more duck to match the amount of pancakes that are served along side.Another shared dessert brought us the always delicious Fried Chocolate in Rice Paper with Banana. I don’t honestly think I could eat one on my own as it is very rich but oh so gorgeous!Finally the Fish Restaurant! Tuna Carpaccio was my appetizer and it was stunning, both in presentation and taste. Hubby went for his all time fave Fava & Octopus and my god it was huge! See pics. This was just a starter!We both chose Codfish for our mains as it reminds us of home, but this is taken to another level with. Beetroot and Garlic sauce. No mushy peas or curry sauce in sight! 😂 Pannacotta with pineapple and crumble top completed our dinner washed down with the house red/white which was consistently replenished when our glasses were empty.All in all with George and his team doing an excellent job in the restaurants we would recommend Norida as a great choice for your holidays.   Wonderful week at Mitsis Norida, immaculate hotel, lovely room for a group of 4, very spacious, stunning view 😍. The staff were amazing, incredibly helpful, kind and friendly.   Wonderful stay in beautiful hotel with best staff

  We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly relaxing and luxurious vacation experience.The hotel complex itself is simply stunning — beautifully designed, incredibly well maintained, and surrounded by a breathtaking atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at paradise. Every area of the resort reflects great attention to detail, from the gardens to the pools and the beachfront.One thing we especially appreciated was the beach setup. No matter what time of day, there were always enough sunbeds available, which made the entire experience so much more relaxing and stress-free.What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the outstanding staff. The level of service, kindness, and genuine hospitality exceeded all expectations. A very special thank you goes to Geni, Ervis, and Altin at the bars, who were always incredibly friendly, attentive, and full of positive energy.   Great holiday, queue for drinks are slow!

  We are currently at Mitsis Norida. Everything is great but struggles at night with being served at our table. The queue for each bar is quite long. It seems as though the servers are also going to everyone but us, even though we are all in the same area! It’s great nightlife, just if you are getting a drink at the bar, get them in bulk!
