Meh hotel
05 Sept 2025
Recently finished a 10 night stay here. Hotel is decent. Modern furnished nicely. Reception staff lovely and happy to help. Room was okay. Booked a double room only to end up with two single beds. So not great. Tv in the room is small but it works. Had YouTube etc. Breakfast was good tbf not much variety but the usual. Bacon, scrambled eggs etc. overall the stay was okay. I’d read a bit of a nightmare review before coming about the room being charged with food and drinks they hadn’t had? I thought this was strange so thought I’d keep an eye on it. Me and my other half had 2 drinks in the whole time we were there, 2 cokes to be exact. But when we came to checkout the person on reception says “I can see an unsettled bill” I thought no problem that must be the 2 cokes no issues. Only to be greeted with a near 60 euro bill. With wine snacks beers etc all charged to our room! They were happy to knock it off when challenged but nevertheless a hassle that didn’t need to happen. The issue is when ordering pool side, they just take a room number. No proof needed. No card needed. Not written on your wristband what room you’re staying in. So you can literally say any room and they will charge it to that room. Ridiculous. A decent stay ruined by that. Decent hotel. Lovely staff, rooms are MEH at best and the bill thing ruined it for me. Not a 4 star hotel, don’t bother paying the extra in room tax. Save your money and book a 3 star hotel. You would probably have a nicer stay for a cheaper price. This hotel is 3 star at best.

Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback following your 10-night stay with us. We are pleased to hear that you appreciated our modern furnishings, the breakfast offerings, and the helpfulness of our reception staff. We sincerely apologize that your room setup did not fully meet your expectations. We completely understand how disappointing this must have been and agree that it is an unnecessary hassle. Please be assured that we are taking your feedback regarding the poolside ordering system very seriously. We are actively reviewing our procedures to implement a more secure verification method for room charges, ensuring this does not happen again. We are glad our reception team resolved the bill quickly for you, but we apologize for the inconvenience it caused. We value your honest review as it highlights areas where we need to improve. We hope you might consider giving us another chance in the future to provide you with the seamless 4-star experience you deserve.Warm regards,

Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, as we continuously strive to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for all our guests. We take your comments regarding the pool area and our gardening standards very seriously. We value a lush, green environment around the pool, but safety and proper maintenance are always our top priorities, and we will address this with our maintenance team immediately.Regarding the housekeeping, as part of our environmental sustainability initiatives, towels and bed linens are changed every three days. We sincerely apologize if this policy was not clearly communicated to you and if you felt the cleanliness of your bathroom fell short of our usual high standards. We deeply regret that your experience with our reception and pool bar staff fell short of your expectations. Providing friendly and helpful service is fundamental to us, and we will be discussing your feedback with our entire team to ensure this does not reflect our usual standard of hospitality. We are glad, at least, that you were able to enjoy the amazing nearby beach. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify areas for immediate improvement.Warm regards,

Disappointed in Kos
12 Aug 2025
Upon arrival the hotel looks good with nice pool area etc. but beyond us where it disappoints! We stayed for 2 weeks in June, and during that time the AC in our room didn’t work & kept shutting off. We complained numerous times only to be told it was a quick fix & would be taken care of, this didn’t happen. I requested our room was changed & again this didn’t happen, it seems those on the front desk cannot make any sort of decision. Also although a high floor was requested directly with the hotel, we were situated on the ground floor & next to the cleaners area which every morning was like smokers paradise & definitely not what I expected to see! Having been advertised as a 4star hotel, where they are quick to take the tourist tax our expectations certainly didn’t match the service provided and for me I was left feeling underwhelmed.

Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your two-week stay with us in June left you feeling underwhelmed. While we are glad you liked the initial look of our hotel and pool area, we deeply apologize for the persistent issues you experienced with your air conditioning. We completely understand your frustration regarding the unresolved repairs and the inability to change your room. Please know that while we always do our absolute best to fulfill room change requests and specific floor preferences, our high occupancy in June unfortunately limits our flexibility. However, the communication regarding the AC repair should have been much clearer, and we will address this breakdown in communication with our maintenance and front desk teams. We are also very concerned to read your comments about being situated next to the cleaners' area and the unprofessional environment you witnessed. This certainly does not reflect our 4-star standards, and we are taking this matter up with our housekeeping team immediately to ensure our staff maintains a professional environment at all times. We understand your disappointment and apologize that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. We truly value your honest feedback, as it highlights the exact areas where we must urgently improve.Warm regards,

Nice but some issues
12 Jun 2025
We’ve just returned from 2 weeks (beginning of June) in room 311 (ground floor)Positives 1. Great location - Bus stop and a car park just across the road. Supermarket is attached. Beach, bakery, tavernas, bars and shops in very short walking distance. We found it to be quiet in the evening and mornings compared to some other reviews here.2. Calm pool area - There is no music around the pool which wasn’t an issue for us. Water is a nice temperature. However we didn’t spend much time at the pool, we used the free sunbeds on the beach daily (King Size), their staff were just amazing and so attentive with beach service!3. Rooms are nice - Relatively modern with nice building design & kept fairly clean. Large room & bathroom with walk in shower. Air con in the main room with mini fridge. 4. Breakfast - We were only Bed & Breakfast for our stay so can’t comment on the other meals or the Taverna itself. I do agree with comments breakfast is basic and the same each day, but I don’t see this as a problem at all, it was pleasant. There’s a coffee machine, juice, water, toaster, pastries, English breakfast type things (beans, bacon, mushrooms, eggs etc), yoghurts, fruit, jams, nuts, bread, cheese & meats. To be honest, you don’t need much breakfast when you have all the tavernas around. The Bakery Shop Gianniotiko is only a 3 minute walk too. Negatives 1. Drinks on room - On check out, we were asked to pay for several drinks, however we’d not ordered anything during our stay. Someone had put drinks on our room number so we argued the bill. The response was “maybe you forgot”…Something needs to be put in place for people to prove their room number before they can put drinks on the room. Thankfully, we didn’t have to pay but a hassle nonetheless. 2. Hair dryer - The hair dryer never worked from the minute we arrived. We complained several times and nothing was done to fix it. Considering a hair dryer is part of the room amenities listed, we didn’t bring one of our own, so it meant going out each evening with wet hair. 3. Smoking - Our room was located right next to the cleaners cupboard which they used as their smoking area. Each day our room was filled with smoke - it was coming in through the air vents in the bathroom which backed onto the smoking area. Probably not an issue if you smoke but we’re non-smokers so it was very off putting and made our clothes smell! Again, we raised it and nothing happened. 4. Lack of bins - This is more about guest behaviour, but due to the lack of bins around the pool area, people would leave their empty rubbish instead of taking it with them when they left. Throughout the day it accumulated to a fair bit of rubbish. If there was a bin in the pool area, hopefully this would happen less! Not a 4* hotel in my opinion and is not worth the extra you pay & also pay in tourist tax (compared to other lower rated hotels in the area). We paid 4* €140 for 2 weeks (€10 per room per night), whereas if we’d stayed 2* it would be €28 for 2 weeks (€2 per room per night). Not a horrible stay or hotel by any means and it’s really enjoyable for most people, but unfortunately because of our personal experience, we wouldn’t go back

Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to write such a comprehensive and balanced review regarding your two-week stay with us. We truly appreciate both your positive highlights and your constructive criticisms. We are thrilled that you enjoyed our prime location, the relaxing atmosphere around our pool, and the modern design of your room. It is also wonderful to hear that our breakfast selection provided a pleasant start to your days. However, we deeply regret the negative aspects of your experience, as they do not reflect the high standard of service we strive to provide:• Room Charges: We sincerely apologize for the incorrect drink charges and for how the situation was initially handled at reception. As we have recognized this as a vulnerability in our poolside ordering process, we have implemented a stricter verification system to ensure room numbers cannot be misused in the future.• Hair Dryer: It is completely unacceptable that your broken hair dryer was not replaced or repaired after multiple requests. We are addressing this communication failure between our reception and maintenance teams to ensure guest requests are handled promptly.• Smoking Odor: We are very sorry about the smoke entering your room through the vents. We have taken immediate action with our housekeeping team to enforce strict designated smoking areas for our staff, far away from guest rooms and ventilation systems.• Pool Area Bins: Thank you for this very practical observation. We will be adding more visible bins around the pool area to encourage guests to dispose of their rubbish properly and help keep the area pristine. We understand why this service shortfalls left you feeling that we did not meet our 4-star classification during your stay. We truly value your feedback, as it highlights the exact areas we need to fix. Should your travels bring you back to Kos, we would appreciate the opportunity to welcome you back and provide the flawless experience you deserve.Warm regards,
