The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. The safe can securely store guests' valuables. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     A clean and well run hotel, perfectly situated a short walk from the beach and with lots of choice in bars and restaurants.The pool area was pristine, the breakfast offerings were plentiful and varied.     Recently finished a 10 night stay here. Hotel is decent. Modern furnished nicely. Reception staff lovely and happy to help. Room was okay. Booked a double room only to end up with two single beds. So not great. Tv in the room is small but it works. Had YouTube etc. Breakfast was good tbf not much variety but the usual. Bacon, scrambled eggs etc. overall the stay was okay. I’d read a bit of a nightmare review before coming about the room being charged with food and drinks they hadn’t had? I thought this was strange so thought I’d keep an eye on it. Me and my other half had 2 drinks in the whole time we were there, 2 cokes to be exact. But when we came to checkout the person on reception says “I can see an unsettled bill” I thought no problem that must be the 2 cokes no issues. Only to be greeted with a near 60 euro bill. With wine snacks beers etc all charged to our room! They were happy to knock it off when challenged but nevertheless a hassle that didn’t need to happen. The issue is when ordering pool side, they just take a room number. No proof needed. No card needed. Not written on your wristband what room you’re staying in. So you can literally say any room and they will charge it to that room. Ridiculous. A decent stay ruined by that. Decent hotel. Lovely staff, rooms are MEH at best and the bill thing ruined it for me. Not a 4 star hotel, don’t bother paying the extra in room tax. Save your money and book a 3 star hotel. You would probably have a nicer stay for a cheaper price. This hotel is 3 star at best.     This hotel is no more than a 2 star , the pool area is a danger , overgrown bushes ! Did not see one gardener all week ! The staff are extremely unfriendly and unhelpful, The maids didn’t change the beds or towels all week Didn’t clean the shower at all! When we asked the lady on reception, she was just rude No stsff whatsoever on the bar in the pool Breakfast was very basic All I can say is thank goodness the beach is amazing !     Upon arrival the hotel looks good with nice pool area etc. but beyond us where it disappoints! We stayed for 2 weeks in June, and during that time the AC in our room didn’t work & kept shutting off. We complained numerous times only to be told it was a quick fix & would be taken care of, this didn’t happen. I requested our room was changed & again this didn’t happen, it seems those on the front desk cannot make any sort of decision.Also although a high floor was requested directly with the hotel, we were situated on the ground floor & next to the cleaners area which every morning was like smokers paradise & definitely not what I expected to see! Having been advertised as a 4star hotel, where they are quick to take the tourist tax our expectations certainly didn’t match the service provided and for me I was left feeling underwhelmed.     Nice but some issues

    We’ve just returned from 2 weeks (beginning of June) in room 311 (ground floor)Positives 1. Great location - Bus stop and a car park just across the road. Supermarket is attached. Beach, bakery, tavernas, bars and shops in very short walking distance. We found it to be quiet in the evening and mornings compared to some other reviews here.2. Calm pool area - There is no music around the pool which wasn’t an issue for us. Water is a nice temperature. However we didn’t spend much time at the pool, we used the free sunbeds on the beach daily (King Size), their staff were just amazing and so attentive with beach service!3. Rooms are nice - Relatively modern with nice building design & kept fairly clean. Large room & bathroom with walk in shower. Air con in the main room with mini fridge. 4. Breakfast - We were only Bed & Breakfast for our stay so can’t comment on the other meals or the Taverna itself. I do agree with comments breakfast is basic and the same each day, but I don’t see this as a problem at all, it was pleasant. There’s a coffee machine, juice, water, toaster, pastries, English breakfast type things (beans, bacon, mushrooms, eggs etc), yoghurts, fruit, jams, nuts, bread, cheese & meats. To be honest, you don’t need much breakfast when you have all the tavernas around. The Bakery Shop Gianniotiko is only a 3 minute walk too. Negatives 1. Drinks on room - On check out, we were asked to pay for several drinks, however we’d not ordered anything during our stay. Someone had put drinks on our room number so we argued the bill. The response was “maybe you forgot”…Something needs to be put in place for people to prove their room number before they can put drinks on the room. Thankfully, we didn’t have to pay but a hassle nonetheless. 2. Hair dryer - The hair dryer never worked from the minute we arrived. We complained several times and nothing was done to fix it. Considering a hair dryer is part of the room amenities listed, we didn’t bring one of our own, so it meant going out each evening with wet hair. 3. Smoking - Our room was located right next to the cleaners cupboard which they used as their smoking area. Each day our room was filled with smoke - it was coming in through the air vents in the bathroom which backed onto the smoking area. Probably not an issue if you smoke but we’re non-smokers so it was very off putting and made our clothes smell! Again, we raised it and nothing happened. 4. Lack of bins - This is more about guest behaviour, but due to the lack of bins around the pool area, people would leave their empty rubbish instead of taking it with them when they left. Throughout the day it accumulated to a fair bit of rubbish. If there was a bin in the pool area, hopefully this would happen less!Not a 4* hotel in my opinion and is not worth the extra you pay & also pay in tourist tax (compared to other lower rated hotels in the area). We paid 4* €140 for 2 weeks (€10 per room per night), whereas if we’d stayed 2* it would be €28 for 2 weeks (€2 per room per night).Not a horrible stay or hotel by any means and it’s really enjoyable for most people, but unfortunately because of our personal experience, we wouldn’t go back Oneiro Boutique Hotel, Μάρκετινγκ at Oneiro Boutique Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to write such a comprehensive and balanced review regarding your two-week stay with us.
