Location

The apartment hotel is located in the heart of Kardamena resort, 100 metres from the beach and within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops. The surrounding natural environment attracts many visitors to the area. Kos Island International Airport is situated approximately 7 km away.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 14 apartments and 3 studios, which are located on 2 storeys and are reachable by lift. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the reception desk. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Rooms

    We have just got home from spending a week her and have to say we loved it!It's not as noisy as some say but to be fair we had a room facing the back.We did spent some time during the evening and still managed to have conversations so cant complain about the noise as its far better than UK nightclub levels. Every single person we met here made a positive impact and made our stay extremely comfortable.We will ne back in a couple months again, cant wait.

    Last year we stayed at the Harriet apartments and decided to try here as air con and an in room safe was included in the price which made it far better value for money. It is also closer to the beach, restaurants and main square. We were slightly concerned about previous reviews stating that the noise from the bar could be an issue, we requested a quiet room and on arrival Marcos gave us a choice of rooms, we chose room 6. We had no problem with noise at all, yes we did hear music in our room but they close the doors at midnight and it was absolutely fine. Having said that the resort was very quiet when we were here,so it could be different later in the season. As many people have mentioned the staff here are fantastic, friendly and welcoming. The Greek night on a Thursday is good fun especially the plate smashing! We were in a one bedroomed apartment which was cleaned 6 days a week and was spotless, sheets and towels were changed once during our 11 night stay. That is the reason for a 4 star rather than a 5 as would have liked the towels to have been changed every 3-4 days. There is very basic equipment and despite some rooms saying there was a toaster there wasn’t. Did ask if we could have one but Marcos said it’s room only so they are not provided. If like us you like to have toast in the morning, the supermarket sells them for €20! We would come back, absolutely but probably only early or late in the season.

    Second time visiting, just as good as the first. Dimitri and Sami are very friendly and get to know you very well. Food is delicious, great prices and as per usual the greek kebab was amazing. Pool area is lovely, always great people around to chat with. Upstairs has a great pool table, so much fun.Thanks for having us, see you next year. Good luck.

    Fantastic stay in this gem of a hotel made even better by Marcos and his team. Rooms are clean and bright with free air con and safe. Hotel is in a brilliant location a few minutes walk to the seafront. Can't wait to return to not only the Origin but also Kardamena which is a super friendly resort.

    Loud thumping music day and night. Never had such a miserable vacation.

    We stayed in a 2 storey duplex apartment to the left of the bar and music system. At 4am the music levels were between 82-87 decibels through the wall.Music was blaring around the pool in the day, you just never got any peace.Perfect for party goers.This hotel is known on the island as ‘a party hotel’ several bar owners referred to it as such. It’s open to the general public and stays open as long as people are drinking.I’ve never had 10 days of feeling so exhausted through lack of sleep.The manager was unapproachable and aggressive in his manner, would not acknowledge our complaint but said he would allow us to swap rooms with our grown up children ( so we could ruin their holiday too ).Beautiful island and beautiful beaches. The locals were such lovely friendly people and the food was 10/10.Just wouldn’t want any other families to experience what we experienced.
