This impressive hotel (221 rooms) is in a quiet position, only 150 m from the beach, 3 km from Kos city centre (frequent local bus service available, as well as easy access by bicycle using the cycle road) and the harbour, 1,5 km from the yacht marina and 28 km from the airport.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 221 non-smoking rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions.     Incredible Hotel enjoyed every minute of our time there! Highly Recommend! Very clean / great food / very friendly staff and the highlight were the animation team Fredo and Grace! Super friendly and welcoming! My son Ben (8) made two new best friends on this holiday and it was Fredo and Grace - still till this day he tells me how much he misses them (his grown up friends) Cant recommend this hotel enough - you just need to book and you will not be disappointed! Thanks to everyone at the hotel that made our stay extra special! Rob Paulina and Ben

    Just returned from our second stay at Hotel Platanista . We had a lovely relaxing time. This hotel is beautiful. Very clean, great selection of food. Two big pools . Staff are friendly and make you very welcome. It has its own beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. Approximately 45 min walk into Kos town ,the route is pretty . There are buses , but do not run to schedule. Freddo , Lauren and Grace are very good with daytime activities and evening entertainment. They are encouraging without being pushy about joining activities . We had a good laugh. We will be back !!!

    The Platanista is ideally located about 3 miles from Koss town centre so close enough but away from any noise. It also has its own beach about 500 meters away.Accommodation was very spacious, clean and the air conditioning work perfectly. Our room was serviced every day and the cleaning ladies were extremely polite and very thorough.The big plus was when we arrived late in the evening, we were presented with a cold meat platter. Salad, bread role and a lovely selection of cheese and meats. It was so nice to have this as we had had a long day. The reception staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much for them to do for us.Food was very good, a little Continental focussed but nothing was unsatisfactory and as a seasoned traveller,I loved everything on offer. Again the staff were absolutely first class. So helpful and would help in an instant.Entertainment was just right and catered for all.The clientele were of the older age group so if you want loud music, late nights then choose a different hotel. Platanista is one of the best hotels in Kos.See you next year.     We had a amazing time at Platanista. The weather, the staff and hotel was amazing. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortabel.
