Location

Ideal for beach holidaymakers and families, this family-friendly hotel is located in Kardamena and is only 30 m from the sea. It is about 2 km to the centre. Kos (KGS) Airport is approximately 7 km away.

Facility

The hotel was modernised in 2023/2024. 185 non-smoking rooms are available to guests in a 4-storey main building and 8 auxiliary buildings. At the hotel, guests are welcomed in the lobby with -hour reception desk and a -hour check-in/check-out service. A car hire service and a theatre hall are available. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided to guests. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Services include a hotel shuttle bus.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a double bed. Valuables can be securely stored in a safe for an additional charge. Guests will also find a mini fridge included among the standard features. A direct dial telephone, satellite television and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and include a hairdryer. Wheelchair-accessible rooms can also be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. Those who wish to stay active while on holiday can enjoy tennis and beach volleyball. For a fee, cycling/mountain biking is also available. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, table tennis and darts. There is a wellness area with a spa and hydrotherapy treatments and, for an additional fee, a sauna and a spa. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

The dining area includes a bar. Guests can dine in a cosy atmosphere at the restaurant (non-smoking and a buffet). All-inclusive can be booked. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel also offers snacks. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    Fantastic hotel for 1st time solo trip

    Absolutely amazing holiday.I stayed for 10 days.The staff are amazing!!! They work so hard all day, they are friendly.The hotel is clean and tidy, I travelled alone and had a room with a sea view. The room had 3 beds, it was cleaned daily, fresh towels daily. The location is great, close to the town, walking distance if you wanted, I took the daily free bus from the hotel.The atmosphere was great, calm, friendly. The entertainment team are also friendly.The food, there is so much choice. Too much choice for a small appetite like mine. Ive just returned from this holiday and I am looking to go back next year!! I would recommend Soverign beach hotel to all my friends!

    Fab hotel. Clean, welcoming and great food.Dont take any notice about the reviews re inedible cold food.They sound like my Great Gran who wanted 'dinner' with steam coming off of it.Probably want a Sunday Roast.Always fresh fish available, my Husband loved the Fresh Grilled Mackeral.Souvlaki and Greek choices. So much to pick from.Lovely staff and our room was cleaned to a high standard daily.We hsve booked a Swim Up Bungalow for September.Can't wait to return.

    What a lovely hotel this is. The staff are very friendly and the most efficient I have come across. We arrived late, but they knew this and there were some fresh sandwiches and fruit waiting for us. Our safe did not work and we required another pillow, we reported this in the morning and both were remedied in less than 30 minutes.The hotel is situated close to the beach, but it was nice to have farmland surrounding it, although the cockerel was a bit of pain cockadoodledooing through the night. Hotel lays on a shuttle bus to Kardemaina in the morning and evenings which is nice, although it's only a 20 minute amble in to the town center walking along the coast path. We decided to walk the opposite way one day, to what looked like another town, but after 45 minutes walking, it was a private community. Luckily there was a supermarket on the perimeter where we could purchase some drinks, no seats though, just a small room.Back to the hotel, room was spacious with 6 large bottles of water supplied, tea and coffee was re-stocked each day by the cleaners.Pool water was a lovely temperature, once you managed to get in! (cold at first)Lunch and evening meals were really good, there was always something there even if you were a fussy eater. Everything was cooked perfect. Staff in the restaurant extremely efficient.We had a late flight and reception provided us with a courtesy room to shower and change in.The only things we could find fault with was not enough potato varieties, there were always chips available, but you can only eat so many of those. Veg was a bit scarce too unless you liked cheese with everything. Breakfast was the same every morning, although there was enough to choose from. Finally, music around the pool, far too loud. If you want music, listen to your personal playlist etc.Would I come back, yes, I think I would.

    Just got home from a 5 night stay here. Pros- lovely view from the roomFree bottles of water in the roomCons-Food was inedible- never hot and always overcooked. I was sick on my last day here.Drinks- watered downSwimming pool- freezingHousekeeping- half arsed job of cleaning the roomStaff- rude and unwelcoming at the barNot a lot for kids at all
