  Spent 5 nights at the stenna appartments may 12 to 18th. First time in Kefalos..couldn't fault the apartment at all, basic but ideal for a couple. Great location and very attentive hosts..the 2 sisters who run the complex are so friendly..we requested an iron and straight away one was given...no charge! Favourite bar? Memory,five minutes away , what a lovely couple who run the place,quite amusing and nothing is a bother to them.   Very good Greek experience!

  Not sure what people expect to be honest. This place is as its advertised , basic Greek accommodation. If you don't mind the odd powercut , you don't mind a shower curtain sticking to you a bit and the bathroom floor getting wet get this place booked 🤣.Very nice owners on site , very central location and also quiet.   Should be much better not the 80s anymore

  Basic rooms in a good location close to beach and supermarket, let down by lots of easily fixable problems. Shower room was always flooded as drain wasn't properly cleaned even at the beginning of the season, no shower head attachment on the wall so had to shower one handed and the shower curtain overhangs the tiny tray. Had cold showers on a number of occasions when weather changed as they seem to rely on solar only so no sun no hot water. The day we left other guests in both blocks had the same problem. The kitchen cupboards had overpowering spell of damp. Minimum kitchen equipment but good sized fridge, freezer. Doors to bedroom and bathroom did not close. But there is a big notice, think everyone says that is basic, sorry for that at least... if l had placed in a renovated apartment, you should pay more and not that price u paid... thanks for your remarks, well known but of course!!!   Fantastic place to stay both sisters so helpful and will do whatever to help you! I even got a gift when we left, lovely touch thank you again for everything.Spotless and cleaning and towel change more often than required.   Excellent apartments, set back from the road, but still convenient. Very quiet and peaceful and kept spotlessly clean and well cared for. These are great value apartments that I would certainly stay in again. They have the essentials which are standard in Greece. The towels and bedding changed every couple of days, comfy beds, plenty of hot water, good water pressure. We were lucky enough to stay in one of the handful of refurbished apartments, but the others still maintained to the same standard and guests will be happy with either.TOP TIPS - as seen from a previous review, a wedge for the middle door useful, stops it closing and a great breeze pulls the warm air through the apartment. A torch useful if taking the short cut from the village at night. You may need some pegs. Dimitris (in the village) good value car hire, the beaches in surrounding area stunning. A couple of the restaurants in the town will pick you up and take you home if you pre book. Our favorite restaurant was Cavos, if you don’t pre book may have to que.
