Location

Tigaki lies just away from the town of Kos on the northern part of the island, right by a 10-km-long stretch of white sandy beach. The shallow waters make this hotel ideal for kids and an easy place to swim and have fun in the waves.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 248 non-smoking rooms located in two 2-storey buildings with lifts. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. To ensure guests a comfortable and relaxing stay, the complex provides various services and facilities, including a baggage storage service, a safe, a currency exchange service, a newspaper stand, a TV room, room service and a hotel doctor. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a sofa bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a desk are also available. A refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station are standard features. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are available for daily use.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. The resort offers outdoor sports, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, bocce and beach volleyball. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy windsurfing, jet skiing and sailing. The resort offers numerous indoor sports, including table tennis, callisthenics and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards.

Meals

The dining area includes a non-smoking restaurant and a bar. A variety of catering options can be booked. Guests can choose between half board and all-inclusive. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras like snacks, in addition to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and a comprehensive dinner buffet offer plenty of delicious variety. Staff are also happy to provide gluten-free meals.

    We decided on this hotel after visiting Tigaki last year an walking through the grounds.We booked a superior room as we wanted a decent bathroom with a proper shower cubicle. That’s what we got.Room clean, comfy and great for us. The room as a small fridge, kettle and mugs.You need to bring your pool/ beach towel.Breakfast if a Greek feast.BUT the smoking during breakfast is awful. People with no respect for others. Hotel needs to look at this.Pool is great. Nice and quiet. Comfy sun-beds with mattresses.Pool bar is lovely at sunset. Definitely worth a drink before venturing out.Easy walk to beach and bars and restaurants.

    Gem of a hotel in great location

    We stayed at Tigaki's Star hotel for 10 days and would happily return. Hotel staff were so hard working and friendly, particularly the girls who work at breakfast service and in the bar.Food at the pool bar was very good and decent prices. Pool bar didn't have a great range of drinks which I'd say was the only negative about the hotel.Hotel grounds were lovely, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Our room, superior ground floor, was cleaned every day, clean towels provided any time you needed them, bedding changed couple of times a week too. Room wasn't huge but was fine for sleeping and getting quick change before heading out.Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. Pool was a decent size and is pretty deep but there was also a baby pool. Hotel is a couple of minutes walk to main strip where there are lots of lovely restaurants and a few bars.We really enjoyed our time at Tigaki's Star and would happily return to the same hotel (something we usually don't do).

    Hidden gem in the sunshine isle of Kos

    Stayed here for a week with my husband and we couldn’t fault anything. Easy short transfer from the airport ✅ about 30 mins Welcome ✅ very nice reception and staffRoom ✅ bed so comfortable Breakfast ✅ everything you neededPool ✅ lovely pool and gorgeous food at the snack bar Area ✅ literally 5 mins to the bars and restaurants with plenty to choose fromBeach ✅ gorgeous and just a bit further past the bars and restaurants Bus to Kos town✅ easy to do and only €2.30Ideal for a couple or a group of friends or even families ✅* tips * * karma bar is cheapest for cocktails and beers by far and they are very good 🍹* amazing food at the Nisiotiko taverna 🇬🇷* gorgeous bakery 🥯 nearby called Gianniotiko, lovely coffee ☕️ and cakes 🍰

    We stayed bed and breakfast at this hotel, in an “superior” room. Excellent service by all staff. Reception, breakfast room , cleaning staff and bar staff. Always attentive and cheerful. Room was excellent and refurbished. Beds comfortable and plenty of clean towels. Sheets changed regularly. Small fridge in room and kettle and cups included. Gardens and large swimming pool kept immaculate.The beach is only a short walk down a lane at the rear of the hotel and the Main Street and shops and restaurants are five minutes walk away.

    Beautiful place, the hotel it’s self is lovely the rooms are spacious we had balcony with sun loungers, air con no problem wasn’t to hot in the rooms in the evenings without the air con. The swimming pool area kept clean and lovely vibe round it the staff in the pool bar work so hard and can’t do enough for you, that’s goes for the receptionist and cleaners too. Breakfast was cheese eggs meats serial fruit yogurt bread basic but plenty.We hired bikes for the day 6 euros just outside the front of the hotel. The area itself is lovely many places to eat and drink drinks an average 4-6 euros a cocktail.Would defiantly stay here again at this hotel.
