    Spotless hotel, bring a car and skip breakfast

    The location was just after you start to come into the village and located just off the main road to the north. It is spotless and the hotel is extremely clean. It was about 2.5km into the main village and you are walking along a main road so this hotel is best if you hire a car. It’s not well placed if you have to walk everywhere and there are very few buses per day and no taxis. The rooms were great. Decent size cleaned daily and spotless. At night however you can hear everyone else in the corridor chatting and the walls must be thin cause if your neighbour has a shower you hear it. The atmosphere is geared to all sorts of customers and a large number of families. The pool area is spotless and they don’t allow you to reserve pool chairs in advance so there’s always space. The bar is expensive if you drink imports like gin. Stick to local stuff and you’ll be fine. The service is a bit slow. Breakfast is a complete letdown. Nothing cooked apart from boiled eggs. They only literally have toast, rolls if you’re early, the boiled eggs or scrambled on request, cheese slices and one type of ham slices. And it’s an early service finish from 8 to 10. After half 9 you will be lucky to get much. It was a shame.

    Been here a few times now. The location is great with lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel rooms are modern and the place is immaculate. The staff are extremely friendly and the owners are really lovely. It was good value for money and we can't wait to go back.

    WOW. What an amazing find. This was my first time on Kos and my wife's second - but she had never been to Kefalos. We are both fans of Greece and the Greek islands and both love the quieter, more relaxed places. Although the flight times were brutal and we did not arrive until about 9:30pm we were welcomed as though we were family by Nikolas and Manolis. Our room was fantastic, the beds really comfortable and everything was spotless. The bar can be noisy, but that is because everyone is talking to everyone else. I have never been in a hotel where strangers welcome you as friends from day 1. The pool is great, the views wonderful, the sunbeds comfy, the family welcoming and friendly. This is a true gem of a hotel, set at one end of the village but in easy walking distance of great restaurants, supermarkets and the harbour - be warned that the village centre is up a really steep hill, but you can get a bus there or get one of the restaurants to pick you up of an evening. Would I return - like a shot. I am not surprised that many guests have been many times before. Thank you for the most relaxing holiday I have ever had.

    What a fabulous hotel nothing was too much trouble, greeted everyday with a smile I can’t believe after checking in the staff never forgot your name the room was fab cleaned daily lunch time snacks and lots of Restraunts nearby for evening meal this hotel is family run so no big chain group and it show so welcoming and friendly can’t wait to come back. Thank you to all staff for making our stay so wonderful

    I had such a lovely time, the staff were so lovely and kind. And it's a great place to go since it's next to the best beach in Kos it's great because you rent a boat with a slide for really cheap. And you can go to the tiny island and ring the bell at the church. The only thing was that the hotel didn't serve food and all the restaurants were shut so we had to go to the supermarket jim. Which didn't serve nutritious food. And towards the end of the season the swimming pool wasn't that clean but it was though at the start of the trip.
