The complex is located in the village of Episkopos (Nikiana), around 150 m away from Episkopos pebbly beach. The harbour lies around 1 km away and the capital is around 7 km from the hotel. The well-known spa resort of Nidri is only around 8 km away and the nearest airport, Aktio, is approximately 25 km away.

Facility

Guests can enjoy the pleasant ambience of one of the 6 apartments and 15 studios. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. Phillipos apartments are on a road just across from the beautiful beach.We were met by George and loula,very friendly and a very helpful,on arrival we were welcomed by name and given two bottles of water,a small gesture but very much appreciated after a long journey.We were shown to our room and given a guide to facilities in our roomRoom was serviced every day by the most cheery cleaner, lovely lady(Christina I think.)A Wonderful experience and would love to go back.We were in room 15 up a few steps and has a great view of the beautiful and well maintained gardens.Everybody was of a cheery disposition always an hello and a wave with a smile.We hope to return to see the finished pool and of course everybody who made our holiday special.We are sending much love to you both in your sad time,we did feel for you all.God love youse x

Beautiful apartments in lovely setting run by welcoming and friendly people

I stayed at Philippos Hotel Apartments in mid-October. The room was furnished with everything you could need - a little kitchenette area with a good range of utensils and crockery, a table inside and a smaller one on the balcony, a very good TV and excellent wi-fi. The bed was really comfortable and the whole place was quiet at night, so I got really good sleep. The room and bathroom were really clean and the cleaner came every day. There was frequent linen/towel changes and the bed was made daily. My cleaner, Christina, even hoovered the balcony - which I thought was quite impressive!The gardens around the buildings were lovingly tended - the grass was really green, despite not having much rain in the summer, and the plants were beautiful, so it's a perfect setting for sitting with a cup of tea on the balcony! Because I was there as the season was ending, Nikiana harbour's bars and restaurants were already all closed. When I arrived in the evening, George very kindly helped me order a takeaway meal (which was delicious!) from a resort 10 minutes away by car. He also gave me two bottles of water for free at check-in, which I thought was a lovely touch.Top tip is to hire a car if you come late in the season. There are buses, but they get more infrequent as October progresses. The buses go to Nidri and Lefkas Town, which do have facilities open. There is a nearby bakery (metres away) which is still open and sells delicious bread and pastries. The beach is only a five minute walk from the hotel and the sea there is beautiful and perfect for swimming and snorkelling. Because of the lateness of my visit, the weather wasn't great and I really missed being able to go out in the evenings to nearby facilities. However, I'm giving 5 stars because of the hotel experience. It's a family-run business and they seem to really care about the welfare of their guests. George and Lula, who run the hotel live on-site and are generally available for any queries you have or help you need. Honestly, they couldn't do enough for me, which was lovely. Everyone at the hotel remembers your name and greets you when they see you, out and about, which made me feel very welcome.

Superb as always ! A no brainer !

WoW Wow Wow !!!!!!!We have stayed with George at Philoppos several times previously and it is always GREAT ! A very nice welcome yet again on arrival and although it was quite late when we arrived , George and his lovely Mum Voula were both there to meet and greet us and with a lovely Ham and cheese Toasty ,Yoghurt and Grapes.A lovely apartment number 6 on the first floor with lockable safe, Air Conditioning in both parts,two balconies with lovely views (away from the road) looking out to their beautiful gardens and the lovely verdant hills ,One LG 43"TV in the lounge kitchen area AND another 32" LG TV in the bedroom ! The beach is very close and in the spring and autumn it is almost empty and very quiet and relaxing. With great room cleaning,fresh towels,clean sheets etc by Christina it cant be beaten !!! With such high reviews and returning visitors its a no brainer !

We absolutely loved this place, a lovely family run Hotel with George at the helm! We are on our last of 10 nights here and it has been such a lovely Holiday. The room is lovely with aircon and a fan and everything you need. Cleaned daily with fresh towels and beds changed regularly. The only real issue for us has been the road noise as we were at the front but it didn’t spoil our experience. It is smack in the middle of Nidri and Lefkada and a short walk to Nikiana shops and Restaurants. The road has been improved with a new path making it no issue at all. A lovely Beach opposite the Hotel with the Kappa Beach life bar being great for food and Drink. The buses run regularly and at €2 to go all the way from Lefkada to Nidri an absolute bargain. Great Holiday in a Great Location, hope to be back soon!!!

A delightful place to stay with the best host you could hope for

A terrific place to stay and convenient base for exploring Lefkas. The bus between Lefkada Town and Nidri stops just up (or down the road) and we had a car delivered to the accommodation for three days of tackling the mountain roads (not for the faint-hearted). The apartments are spacious and serviced daily - ours was lacking a few pots and pans and utensils but we still managed to cook for ourselves half the time we were there, as well as eating breakfast on one of our two (!) terraces and making picnics. The beach is just across the road and Nikiana a short 10-15 minute walk away, sea on one side and, alas, busy road on the other. The last Taverna along the harbour, right on the beach is excellent (we ate there three times - inexpensive and even offers a free dessert). But, as many have said before us, George takes a personal interest in all his guests, providing useful tips, answering questions and stopping for a friendly chat: in our case even administering first aid and providing directions to the hospital! He really helped us get the most out of our holiday.
