We stayed here for a week ...the hosts dido and george were amazing..dido arranged our car hire and trips ...with no fuss at all ...when we visited the many tourist sights she guided us where to go and see....the rooms and building is immaculately clean ...the bed was amazing ...george made a wonderfully breakfast for us daily with his home made jams and foods ..he should be on master chef ...we wish we could both our hosts back home with us ..and thank them for our time on this fabulous island ... Unique modern well designed Hotel and Restaurant

    rating09 May 2026

Only had the pleasure of staying here for one night, wished it was longer. Very friendly Hostess who speaks perfect English. She has overseen the development of a truly unique property, with many architectural designs and unusual lighting. Not much to see in the village, but there is a beach and beach bar. However a 15 minute stroll takes you to the next village with any restaurants, bars and a marina. We didn’t try the Hotel’s own restaurant, but the menu looked very good. We would love to return for a longer stay. SPYRIDOYLA MANOLITSI, Ιδιοκτήτης at Thomais Boutique Hotel, responded to this review Thank you very much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted that you appreciated the unique design and atmosphere of our hotel, as well as the architecture and lighting details that make the property so special. It’s also lovely to hear that you enjoyed the location and the nearby walk to Nikiana village and marina. We truly hope to welcome you back soon for a longer stay and a special dining experience as well!

    A great trip

    rating31 May 2025

Friendly owners who made us feel welcome and helped us organise trips around the island. Our room was very comfortable, with plenty of space for our belongings, meaning we didn’t feel like we were living out of a suitcase. There was a feast for breakfast, with beautifully fresh ingredients. A 2-minute walk down the road to a gorgeous small beach - peaceful but also with a van to buy drinks and snacks. A 15-minute walk to the village with outstanding restaurants - everything is so tasty! SPYRIDOYLA MANOLITSI, Ιδιοκτήτης at Thomais Boutique Hotel, responded to this review Thank you very much for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear that you had a great trip and felt so welcome during your stay. It’s wonderful to know that you enjoyed the comfort and space of your room, our fresh and plentiful breakfast, and the convenience of the nearby beach and village.Your kind words about our hospitality and recommendations truly mean a lot to us. We’re so glad you enjoyed exploring the island and tasting the local cuisine. We hope to welcome you back again soon! 😊

Charming Boutique Hotel with Excellent Service and Great Location

    rating14 Nov 2024

Beautiful boutique hotel with exquisite decor, showing attention to every detail. Our room was on the smaller side, especially the shower, but equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. There is air conditioning or heating, depending on the season. The hotel is conveniently located near several beaches and a variety of restaurants, especially during high season. If you visit in November, as we did, it’s necessary to go to the center of Lefkada for more dining options.During high season, breakfast is a buffet, while in low season it’s à la carte, with selections made the night before. Nonetheless, the food is plentiful, and we were able to choose as many options as we wanted. Everything was delicious. It’s a family-run hotel, and the hosts were very friendly, helpful, and gave us great recommendations to explore the island. In front of the hotel, there’s a small pool with a hot tub, though it was no longer in use during our visit. SPYRIDOYLA MANOLITSI, Ιδιοκτήτης at Thomais Boutique Hotel, responded to this review Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review. We’re delighted that you appreciated the boutique character of the hotel, the exquisite décor, and the attention to detail, as well as the comfort and amenities of your room. As a boutique hotel, room sizes may vary, but we’re pleased to know everything you needed for a comfortable stay was provided. We’re glad you enjoyed our breakfast service in both concept and quality, and that the flexibility and variety met your expectations. Your kind comments about the food and our family-run hospitality truly mean a lot to us.It’s also wonderful to hear that our location, close to beaches and restaurants, and our local recommendations helped you make the most of your stay, even during the quieter month of November. Regarding the pool and hot tub, you are correct that they are not in operation outside the main season.Thank you again for your balanced and constructive feedback. We truly hope to welcome you back in the future, perhaps during a different season, to experience another side of Lefkada.

We found description of facilities differ to reality .

    rating02 Oct 2024

Hotel advise they are only responsible for info on their own website despite - I assume - customers using tour operators and booking sites info for an informed choice when choosing their holiday .So … Based on info on the drop down menu of Thomais website - vs - this is what we actually found HOTEL - Reception , lobby , cafe-bar , breakfast area …. They are ALL in one open plan room.GARDEN - I ‘think’ they refer to seating at front of hotel next to horrendously busy/ noisy road as that’s all we found - images 4,6,7 in gallery AQUA GYM - very small pool, one bike , one treadmill ( evidence of what looked like rust ) . Next to busy main road . No sunbeds - plus you have to book a slot .image 11SPA- ? No idea where this was unless they mean pool may have jets ? BEACH BAR - accross the busy road about 200 to 300m was a mobile van like a burger van at a fair serving drinks , cheap looking sunbeds ( no cushions) at an additional cost SMALL SHOP - was shelves with oilSMALL LIBRARY - was shelf with 2nd hand books No welcome drink was offered BUSINESS CENTRE - loan of a lap top and use of printer behind reception desk. No separate area . BREAKFAST- this was adequate ROOM - we had a lifestyle room - Hers Paradise - no idea what cosmetic amenities were , no bathrobes , balcony does have a view of mountains to the right but overlooks scorched grass area and is directly overlooked by dwelling to left . Terribly noisy from traffic so couldn’t leave door open .No Nespresso machine , no coffee in room . It also has a mirror above the bed ???Bathroom ( shower only ) very small with shower taps at ‘hip’ height so I kept knocking myself . (I’m 5’1) VIVARIUM WINE RESTAURANT- it states it’s next to the lobby ? No idea where they mean ( we ate out every night ) unless they mean the ‘garden ‘ area - if so , I feel road noise would spoil any dining experience - see images 4,5, 6 & 7.Or they mean it’s the same tables as breakfast and snack bar and bar - with an outlook on to the wall by the busy road - the same room as people sitting on sofa / reading or watching tv - images 3,6,7, 11 of INDOOR gallery Image 9 on OUTDOOR gallery on website that looks like a restaurant we did not find , no idea where it was . Personally we also found the location a problem without a car . Buses are unreliable , roads are dangerous to walk on and taxis are expensive . I do not recommend this hotel for a summer holiday stay SPYRIDOYLA MANOLITSI, Ιδιοκτήτης at Thomais Boutique Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to provide such a detailed comment. However, several of the statements made are inaccurate, subjective, or based on personal assumptions rather than factual discrepancies. All facilities, services, room categories, and amenities are described transparently and accurately on our official website and on all booking platforms we cooperate with. The hotel is a boutique property, not a resort, and this is clearly stated. Common areas (reception, lobby, breakfast and café-bar) are intentionally designed as an open-plan space, which is typical for boutique hotels and visible in both photos and descriptions.Regarding the garden, pool, aqua gym, spa, library, shop, and business corner:These are all accurately described as small-scale boutique facilities. The pool is a relaxation pool with hydromassage, the aqua gym consists of compact equipment, the shop offers local products, and the library is a small reading corner. None of these are presented as full-scale standalone facilities, nor is a traditional spa advertised. Photos on the website clearly reflect their size and nature. The beach bar is located on the nearby beach and is operated independently, which is also clearly stated. The restaurant operates within the hotel’s dining area and garden space, depending on season and weather conditions. No separate large restaurant building is advertised. As for the room, the “Lifestyle – Her Paradise” category is described in detail online, including size, layout, amenities, and views. Coffee facilities, bathrobes, cosmetics, and room features are listed per category; items not included are not advertised as included. Noise from the road and the hotel’s roadside location are also clearly visible on maps and photos, and this is a known characteristic of the area.A welcome drink is not listed as a standard inclusion and therefore cannot be considered missing.Breakfast is described as boutique-style and seasonal, not as a large resort buffet. Finally, regarding location and transportation: the hotel is clearly positioned outside Lefkada town, something stated on all platforms. Public transport schedules, road conditions, and taxi pricing are external factors beyond the hotel’s control. Guests who prefer a resort-style, car-free summer holiday are advised to choose accommodation within town centers or large resorts, rather than a boutique hotel on the main island road.We regret that your expectations did not align with the boutique concept and location you selected. However, the claim that the hotel description “differs from reality” is not supported, as all information provided is accurate, transparent, and publicly available prior to booking.
