    10/10!! The most wonderful place!

    rating31 Aug 2025

We loved every minute of this little oasis! To start with it was like walking into your friend’s house when Haris greeted us! He is an absolute credit to this lovely place. The hotel itself is beautiful and serene - we felt like we breathed a sigh of relief when we arrived and felt instantly relaxed. The rooms are tasteful, beautiful and oh so comfortable. The view is UNMATCHED.You definitely need a car and a confident driver to reach Psaravolada, but it’s 100% worth it. Grab some dinner in their restaurant… it was our favourite Greek salad that we had during the whole holiday! The portions are huge and the value for money is amazing! Don’t hesitate to book a stay here, it’s beautiful, calm and cosy.

An Oasis of Tranquilituy and Understated Elegance

    rating07 Aug 2024

Superb! An oasis of tranquility and understated elegance. Comfortable and spacious rooms (ours had an outdoor day bed), breathtaking views, just minutes from Kiriaki Beach, and possibly the best restaurant on the island of Milos. Highly recommended. Very professional, friendly staff made every day of our stay a pleasure.

Amazing experience in this wonderful resort

    rating20 Jul 2024

We stayed at the Psaravolada resort for 4 nights and everything was great. The resort and rooms are very well maintained, the view from the rooms is fantastic, you cannot ask for more. Nansy was very helpful ensuring that we get all the information about our stay even before getting there and also arranged our transfer from the airport. Once we got there, Harry showed us the room and facilities around, and gave us his contact information so we could contact him directly during our stay. He was very nice and booked us the restaurant for us, a boat trip around the island and helped us by making sure our stay is as comfortable as possible. The people who work at the resort are very nice and friendly. We enjoyed our time spent there.

Really is a room with a view...

    rating24 Jun 2024

I do wonder if the owners of this small boutique hotel ever read their reviews? They certainly don't comment and I do think there is room for improvement where staff attitude is concerned. But first the good stuff. This really is a hotel with the most amazing, uninterrupted sea-views we have ever had. We had a modern, stylish junior suite so our room was spacious and comfortable with a fridge and coffee maker. Cleaned regularly. Extremely private with our own patio and day-bed. Absolutely no jostling for sun beds here! You pay a price for the incredible view though, as the hotel is perched high on a cliff, along a very bumpy dirt track-you'll wonder if you are in the right place when you arrive. As with other guests,I'd say car hire is absolutely essential at this hotel. Its a good few miles from the port of Adamantas, with absolutely NO facilities in walking distance, and pitch dark at night. You could I think walk to Agia Kiriaki Beach nearby, which is really nice, but there's only a solitary taverna, no bars or sunbeds, so take everything with you. We didnt dare brave the precipitous steps down to the hotel's own beach. This is not a hotel for families. Children and young people would be bored out of their skulls very quickly, but if you crave peace, quiet, solitude and natural beauty this is for you. On the downside, we hated the toilet and shower basically being in our bedroom in a glass cube. Although we've been a couple for almost 40 years, we still dont enjoy hearing each other in the toilet!! The hotel is hooked on QR codes so things such as an actual menu on a bit of paper is viewed as anachronistic. Take your phone to meals as that's the only way you'll find out what's on the menu! We found this quite annoying. Breakfast quickly became very boring with absolutely no variation of offer. When we asked for fresh fruit, we basically got 4 very thin slices of banana or apple arranged beautifully on a plate. Where was the array of fresh fruit we saw in the shops? On a couple of days we gave up and had a massive stack of pancakes at a cafe in Adamantas. Like some other reviewers, we found the staff somewhat supercilious and disinterested. Extracting information about anything was like getting blood out of a stone. As with one other reviewer, the very intense waiter at dinner -who tried to tell me what I should and shouldnt have to eat -really put us off, though the meal was fabulous (QR codes not withstanding). It infuriated me that the wifi code was NOT in the room information, and I had to WhatsApp someone about this. Overall, this is a lovely hotel, with the caveats described above. Milos is a beautiful island and easy to explore by car. There are no buildings higher than a church, and no tourism over-development, just stunning scenery, safe, quiet beaches, and small, towns with good food, restful cafes and amazing views. Not a noddy train, sports bar or English breakfast to be found-hurrah! Be aware, most places really do close in the afternoons so don't expect cafes, restaurants and shops to be open til after 5pm. One or two places stay open in Adamantas all day -we practically lived in Aggeliki cafe-fantastic ice cream, iced coffee, pastries etc with service second to none. Plaka is stunning ,and not just for sunset views; take a walk up to the church on the top -the views are incredible. Lovely narrow streets with restaurants, bars, cafes & shops. We also visited the small but perfectly curated archaeological museum in Plaka; do see a copy of the Venus de Milo; I hadnt thought about this before but Milos is where it was found before being purloined by the French & put in the Louvre (though more it correctly should be called the 'Aphrodite of Milos'). The Roman theatre (free) near Tripiti is def worth a visit if you like history, it was much better than we expected. The nearby catacombs on the other hand were underwhelming and not worth the admission fee of 4e each. We did a sailing trip one day, lots on offer in Adamantas,we recommend Aquatta. There were only 12 on the trip which included home-made lunch and snacks, open bar, speedboat trips through sea caves and swimming/snorkelling from the boat. Pollonia is also worth a visit-lovely harbour with fishing boats and restaurants aplenty. Go to Milos before its " discovered" by tour companies. You wont be disappointed!
