    Stayed for 4 nights 5 days in May 25, I cannot recommend this family run hotel more. Apart from it being absolutely stunning the staff are super friendly and welcoming you feel like you have gone to stay with friends. The whole place is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated in all areas so stylish and modern. The food for breakfast is plentiful with good choices and if you stick around for lunch the presentation is on point. You are about a 20 min walk from the town centre down hill, which again is one of the most magical places ever, you need to be fairly fit for the journey down but also the way up, but if you can you get to take in breathtaking views which is worth the pain. All the restaurants in town were brilliant we didn’t have a bad meal, but it’s not cheap, London prices £25/£35 for a main meal, soft drinks £5/£6 and cocktails £15/£20 but again worth treating yourself. The staff are happy to tell you all about the wonderful places to visit, call cabs and tell you bus routes. Effie the owner is a legend, I wanted to take her home with me and Bippi on respecting and all the other staff couldn’t do enough for you… they are all a credit to what makes it special. I went with two girlfriends and it was everything we wanted it to be, I think amazing for friends or couples, maybe not great for kids.., but depends what your kids are in to. I would 100% go back and I’m hoping one day I will Thank you all again for a wonderful holiday, I can’t get over the view you have every day xx

    Fantastic Stay in Mykonos

    We thoroughly enjoyed the our stay at Aletro. The family run apartments were perfect for us and the staff were extremely welcoming, attentive and friendly. The owner even came to pick us up from the port on arrival. The apartments were beautifully thought out and finished to a nice standard. The pool area was really relaxing and comfortable with beautiful views out to sea. The resident Donkey and Turtle were a bonus!Food was great and would definitely stay again if we were in Mykonos.Thanks to everyone at Aletro for an amazing stay!

    This would have been a five star review but sadly our last day was completely ruined, I would have gone with a 1 star but family convinced me to go 3. The good bits, it’s generally lovely, room was amazing, staff are lovely, the housekeeping just never stopped, she worked so hard! Food is great. View is fantastic. It’s a bit of a scary trek to the old port and Little Venice but all part of the experience. Overall fantastic.::::: then I watched as two lovely ladies arrived, annoyed everyone with their personal music competing with the hotels music (hotels music is chilled, relaxing and very cool) and best of all the men arriving…. Loudly ruining the ambience, buying a drink and then disappearing to a room with one, sometimes both of these lovely ladies, for around 20 mins……. That makes me laugh 🤣🤣🤣 20 mins 🤷‍♀️. Re appearing, hot, sweaty and leaving straight away…… none of this is the hotels fault, I get that….. but all the staff sat and watched, did nothing, didn’t comment. I felt like I was in a very obvious brothel, fun but my 14 year old daughter also noticed. A lot of families were there…. Such a shame as this place is awesome. They just need to make it paying guests only and by that I mean paying for the room and facilities, not the other services some were offering. Such a shame 🥲

    Simply the best hotel

    My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel just outside of the Mykonos town. We arrived late as the flight was delayed and we had a lovely welcome from Vivi at reception. The hotel is absolutely stunning overlooking the Aegean sea. The breakfast is delicious with everything to get you started for the day. I had the most amazing Greek yoghurt followed by scrambled eggs with fresh coffee. We also had dinner a few times and the food is amazing I have stayed in hundreds of hotels during my travels and I have to say this is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the owner drove us back to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel in the beautiful Mykonos island.

    Lovely hotel, all of the staff were amazing, the food was very good and the pool area was so nice. My only small issue was the bed squeaked dreadfully every time i turned over i woke my husband up also was not keen on the shower in the bathroom. The view was lovely from the balcony.
