Rooms

With windsurfing, canoeing, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from.     The accomodation was dirty and lacking basic hygiene & safety standards. Upon entering the room, we found used capsules in the coffee machine, a dirty sponge in the sink, and stained towels. There was also a strong, disturbing odour of mold and cheap air freshener. The bathroom trash was not emptied daily - a hygiene concern, as they asked toilet paper to be disposed in the trashcan vs. the toilet. However most concerning was when we discovered that our shower window opened into a communal housekeeping unit (please see photos attached). We informed staff that this was unacceptable, a privacy concern, and that the window should have been locked and frosted. Their initial response was: "there is a ventilation button if you want to air the room". When escalated to the manager, she explained that a handyman was meant to lock it, but that he was not available before season-opening. We later found that this was a lie, as the same feedback was posted by another guest in July 2025. The fire extinguisher was also missing from the holder - a clear safety failure. To summarise, if you are used to decent hospitality and basic hygiene practices, I do not recommend this hotel. You will be bitterly disappointed. FYI: if booking for immediate future, please also note that there is ongoing construction impacting the peace of certain villas.

    My wife and I spent two nights here as a finale to our vacation in the Greek Islands. It was an amazing ending. The staff were terrific top to bottom, and we thought the service from the front desk, dining, beach, housekeeping, and spa teams was courteous, warm, and attentive. We were given a really generous room upgrade at check-in, and loved the view from our private deck (even if we spent as much time at the beach as possible). Throughout the stay, staff were really helpful with keeping us comfortable and fed. We also appreciated the assistance with arranging transfer from the Old Port, to our flight, and in/out of the main town. Photos don't really do justice to how beautiful the resort's location is or how large and comfortable the villas are. Located at the southern tip of Mykonos, the hotel offers a peaceful and family-friendly oasis from the hubbub at Hora or the busier beach clubs. Even in August, you could totally forget it's high season but for the dozens of yachts passing by each day. The resort enjoys its own private beach, which is WAY less crowded than some of the others we saw traveling around the island. It also has great cover from the north and west winds. The property has fewer than a dozen villas so competition for beach chairs is pretty much nonexistent. Well worth it for family vacation or couples' getaway.

    We thoroughly enjoyed the room, the beach, the warm service and the privacy of Casa Del Mar. The view from our room, the clear water at the beach, the lovely breakfast and the unassuming way they brought us water to the beach made the place memorable.

    It was a surprise 60th birthday vacation for my entire family. Fantastic experience. The location was beautiful. The accommodations were amazing. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was very good. Great WiFi access throughout the resort. Breakfast and the restaurant was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a perfect experience. Highly recommended.
