  An amazing place to experience Mykonos

  The Hotel is in a lovely picturesque apartment right in the centre of Mykonos Town. The famous Windmill’s are a 2 minute walk from the apartment! Check-in was easy and we were made to feel very welcome. We will absolutely be staying here again as we loved every moment!

  I was almost put off staying here after reading some of the other reviews but I had a very nice stay at Pension Flora!It was extremely expensive for me (I paid the same for 10 days all inclusive 5-star hotel in Caribbean) but it was still cheap relative to all other central accommodation in Mykonos!! Everything is Mykonos is super expensive so prepare yourself for that 😅The location of Pension Flora is perfect, in the centre of the town close to all shops, bars, restaurants, port and bus stations for beaches etc. Other reviews complain about noise at night, but for me it was not a problem. In the time I was there I was woken up a couple of times by people going home from bars. This was 5-10 minutes at most! I must give special thanks to Katerina. She was fantastic and so helpful answering any questions I had. As I was staying for 10 days she upgraded me to a bigger room after the 2nd day which was so nice. The cleaner was brilliant. She came every day and kept the apartment very clean. She realised after day 3 that I like to have a lie in and so changed her time and came later in the day after that. Towels and bed linen were changed every other day! I would definitely stay at Pension Flora again and recommend it to others!

  No reception, had to call to get a kind girl who came to give us the keys. the room is realy small, the bathroom is a bath but not a bathroom ... the window opens to a closed tunel & from there if you leave the window open, you here what happens in the other rooms. Never go there again

  The location of this hotel is excellent, it's quite central, near the windmills and thus there is space for car parking, several restaurants and lots of shops are on the nearby streets. I stayed in a downstairs single room and while it was not expensive it was a little minimalistic. The bed was fine but all I got was the bed and room, there is no reception and to get your key you have to call the owner in advance. The room was cleaned daily as was the bathroom.One big disadvantage was that the streets can be noisy with locals riding motorbikes. The streets are narrow and thus the noise the bikes make echoes up and down the streets and when your window opens right onto the street this gives you a free 3 am alarm call, which is annoying if you'd like a lie-in. Would I stay again / recommend this to someone: No.

  Great location. You will be a two minute walk from all 3 big buses that take people to the major 3 party spots. Don't be scared to take the bus -- everyone takes the bus to the major party spots and you'll meet lots of fun people who are there to travel, party, and socialize on the buses. The apartment is also in the heart of the Old Town area with lots of good restaurants, tons of people, beautiful scenery, beautiful people, souvenir shops. Please note, you will not be immediately next to a swimmable beach (you'll need to take a bus to the major beaches). You can rent a scooter for 20 euro a day from right across the street. Grab delicious Greek food for 3 euro from right across the street.The cons: 1) it was hard to get in contact with the owner. 2) the owner wouldn't give us more than one copy of the key. Even if you have three people in the room, they will only give you one copy.
