  The worst hotel of my life

  I came for a holliday with my family to Mykons and end up in hotel room in the form of horse stable no window only 1 door but divided in two the uper part can be open as the entrans of horse stable not even a plastic cup .no shampoo to wash with .only 1small soap bar for 3 adalts no wifi in room no parking for hired car .And the price for 2 night 210 eurs .no even mosquito net .The only thing wich is good in this form of hotel is the view although with high smell sewage. It was a nightmare belive me.

  Simple motel, but the price of 3 stars hotel.

  Simple motel for the price of a 3 star hotel. Simple room with 2 single beds , cold water in the shower, the towels were not clean and seemed like they were washed by hand. Simple breakfast with lukewarm brew coffee . Decent location and nice view. The environment around the motel could have been cleaned up .

  This hotel has a beautiful view- that is undeniable, you open your door/window and it's a gorgeous unobstructed view of a beach with turquoise water and beautiful sunsets. Location is good - few minutes walk to the main bus station in Mykonos/all the restaurants etc. There is no reception area and all rooms are on a thin balcony. The rooms themselves are tiny, the door has an odd lock- the door is like a horse stable with two sections to close and lock. the bathroom is tiny and our "fridge" didn't work. When it came to us checking out, the manager lady did not offer us any transport to the Mykonos airport. Our flight was at 7.30am and she said the driver would be sleeping.. The first bus did not arrive until 8am so we were left very worried about how to get to the airport when taxis are so rare on the island- she did not help at all. If you're looking for a cheap stay in a good location this is okay but don't expect anything more.

  We got robbed in Belou Hotel!

  When arriving by car there was no parking available (nor paid nor free). The hotel, or better call it a motel, is located uphill with only one long stairway leading you there. The cleaning lady 'managing' the hotel speaks only two words of English and wasn't of any help in order to find a parking spot nearby. The entrances of the rooms lead you directly to the 'balcony' of the place as you can see in the photos. There is no reception or private and secure area shielding you from the street. Anyone can just walk up to the rooms without being seen. The door to the room opens in two parts, one upper and one lower part, exactly like in horse stables. It might as well have been used as a donkey stable in the past... Only the upper part can be locked with a key. The lower part was closed by a small wooden strip overlapping from the upper part towards the lower part. The beds were blocking the door when entering the room. Yes, the room is that small and we also encountered lots of ants in the room. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and the airconditioning made a lot of noise. The bathroom was outdated as well, the shower curtain was very dirty and the water pressure was poor at best. Also, you could only get some pressure when choosing for hot water, but this was far too hot for normal human use. When choosing cold water, almost no water came out. The shower head holder was also reattached, but the old whole next to its original place was still visible, very poor job there, just plain ugly. There was a little refrigerator which made too much noise and didn't really cool. Light switches are inconveniently high-placed (yes, this is as strange as it sounds) and there are no power sockets to charge your phone or something else next to the bed. The walls are quite thin and we could hear our neighbours talking in the room next door. It is a very dark area, the streets have no public lighting and you have to walk on the street where cars and bikes are passing by right next to you, you share the same road, there is no sidewalk. To top it all of, we got robbed in both rooms we booked on the last night of our stay. We went for dinner and when we came back about 3 hours later the window at the back had been forced open and all our belongings were gone! Suitcases, backpacks, clothes, phones, passports, money, perfumes, even our dirty laundry! So...If you want to be safe please better choose other place.

  A fairlybad place. Avoid if possible!

  Room are very basic,relatively clean but very old and not taken care of: bed sheets, toilet towels and so on. Finally the owner Giorgos is not a polite and reliable person: will make you wait unnecessarily or just go instead of waiting for you, with concrete risk to loose a flight. My advice is to spend or invest a few more euros for another hotel/rooms in order to avoid this place. Its a shame because the "hotel" is locate on a good spot, above Megali Amnos beach and Lena (lady preparing rooms and breakfast) is a very very kind lady.
