Location

This hotel is located on Mykonos, the most popular of the Cyclades islands. The wonderful Agio Ioannis beach is only about 50 m from the hotel. From here, guests have views of the bay and Delos, the holy island of the Gods. It is approximately 4 km to Mykonos town; bus services run there and to other beautiful beaches from the public transport stop in front of the hotel. An array of pubs, taverns, bars and cafés offer varied entertainment facilities.

Facility

    Manoulas beach hotel always exceeds my expectations. This was my third time staying at Manoulas and have always loved the tranquility of the hotel, excellent staff and amenities and how this hotel is always nicely maintained and retains its Mykonean aesthetic without any unnecessary fuzz! Thank you to the lovely staff who made our stay memorable once again!

    This resort is so clean and beautiful. The pool has such a vibe- amazing design, view and music. The green juice served by the pool was so delicious, we were getting two a day. There’s these cool windows that you can look up into the pool too! And a gym! The included breakfast was expansive and delicious, fresh buffet! Was a great spot to explore the island! I will definitely be back!

    This hotel is absolutely beautiful, it is well located, pretty much next door to Hippie Fish, and although this was the hotel where Shirley Valentine was filmed it bears no resemblance to how it was.The staff are lovely, particularly Costas on reception. Breakfast is very good, though a tea pot would have been a welcome addition (they had them at the bar but not in breakfast area), the pool area is absolutely stunning with Bali beds, or sun beds in the pool - there is am awful lot of posing for social media going on as both the area and the sea view beyond is amazing. There is no towels on sun beds happening here.The snack bar is good, and although expensive, not as expensive as other bars/restaurants in the area .There is a bus stop straight outside the hotel, 2 euros into Mykonos Town. They run every half hour. A taxi is 30 euros.Rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard - room equipped with fridge. Pool towels are provided.Couple additions I think would have been essential given the price - coffee machine or facilities in the room. I asked for a kettle from reception, then had to ask at the bar for cups and buy our own tea, coffee and milk from the shop.Wine glasses in the room, you just get tumblers which we used as toothbrush mugs.Bottle of water in the fridge - particularly on arrival. We arrived at 11 pm, there was no water, no shop and hotel bar was closed.There are also no sun beds provided on the beach, although this is described as a beach resort. The restaurants have them and they are limited in supply and very expensive (between 80 and 180 euro a day).All in all would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. We stayed for 11 nights, but many people seem to just come for a couple of nights and move on.

    My wife and I stayed at the Manoulas Resort for 3 days in July. I wanted to take a moment to share about our extremely positive experience. First, the staff is amazing and very helpful. They confirmed rides for us, pick up times, and even greeted us as we pulled in from our day’s outing asking if we had a great time. The service team was so friendly and fun. The bar staff and servers for the wonderful breakfast everyday were attentive. The facility is gorgeous and the rooms were impeccable upon arrival and restored when we were out of the room. The pool area is beautiful, constantly cleaned and well maintained.Finally, as we left on the last day of our stay, I suddenly realized that I left my carry-on bag sitting on the chair in the lobby as I was checking in our luggage for our flight. We still had 2 hours before we flew out (pays to get to the airport a bit early). I called Manoulas. They said to call them back in 5 minutes. When I called they had arranged for a driver to drop my carry-on off at the departure gate!! The driver arrived 15 minutes later with my carry-on. WOW!! What service!!! I can’t thank Manoulas enough for their help. Our stay was awesome and if you go, find a server named Christiana, she was so fun!!

    That's one of my bucket list ticked off! I didn't get my little table by the gently lapping waves and unfortunately the hotel itself no longer bares any resemblance to the famous 'Shirley Valentine' hotel, but it is still a stunning, modern hotel in great location. High luxury, stunning pool and views. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Very clean everywhere. Our room was poolside with it's own little terrace. Loved everything about this hotel and will definitely stay again when in Mykonos.
