DO NOT GO !!!!! please avoid at any cost!

I rarely leave reviews, but after this experience I feel people genuinely need to be warned. While on holiday in Greece with my sister-in-law, we walked past this restaurant near the our Hotel and one of the waiters approached us, encouraging us to come in for food and drinks. He was polite, friendly, and very convincing, so we decided to give the place a chance. At first everything seemed fine. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco which cost almost £80, and the service initially appeared good. Later, we decided to order shisha. Unfortunately, when it arrived it was absolutely terrible — completely tasteless, harsh, and all we could taste was charcoal. The shisha pot itself was dusty and looked like it had not been properly cleaned or used in a long time.Within less than five minutes of receiving it, we politely called the waiter over and explained that the shisha was not good and asked if they could either add more flavour or replace it. Instead of listening properly, he tried to convince us that it was “fine” even though it clearly wasn’t. After we insisted we were unhappy with it, he took it away.A few minutes later, he came back and shockingly asked us to pay for the shisha in advance — despite the fact we had just complained about it and barely touched it. We were honestly taken aback and upset. Why should customers be forced to pay for something that was poor quality and returned almost immediately? We explained calmly and respectfully that it did not make sense to pay for something we did not enjoy and had not used properly. He kept pushing us to pay, and when we refused, the manager came over. This is where the experience became extremely uncomfortable. The manager was rude, aggressive, and intimidating. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he spoke to us in a way that made us feel trapped and pressured. We felt incredibly disrespected and uncomfortable as two women simply trying to explain a reasonable complaint. At that point we genuinely just wanted to leave.Eventually they brought the shisha back and it was slightly better, but by then the entire atmosphere had been ruined and we did not want to continue arguing, so we paid just to avoid further confrontation. To make matters even worse, when it came time to pay the bill, the same waiter actually asked us for a tip. After such an awful experience, that honestly felt insulting. I’m not saying the waiter himself was entirely bad, but asking for a tip after customers have clearly had a negative experience shows a complete lack of awareness and professionalism. We paid for our meal and left feeling upset, uncomfortable, and disappointed.I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. The service became hostile the moment we raised a genuine concern, and no customer should ever feel pressured or intimidated into paying for something they were unhappy with.

Hotel fail to meet basic standards

    rating04 May 2026

The basic standards of a hotel and approach towards guests fall drastically. The blankets' fabric in the rooms feel made out of low quality polyester, so your body can not rest since the material is no breathable. Furthermore, the breakfast buffet offers limited options and the old man working there is extremely rude.

    Ok for beach stay in.

Hotel in general is nice, right by a beach. Quite far from the town and bus transport schedule is not convenient. You might see in the hotel pictures a restaurant with beach cabana set up but that is a separate establishment from the hotel.Breakfast is typical of hotels in Greece, which is on, with very friendly and helpful service crew.Housekeeping crew were also awesome. However, front desk, we find we’re not very hospitable. One young lady was very nice when we checked in April 20th, but the other more matured receptionist was a bit rude or not welcoming, for someone working in the industry, compared to the other 4 hotels we had on the other islands and mainland Greece. That lady also charged our group with the climate resiliency tax per head and not per room, even though we insisted as it was clearly stated in our travel brochures and according to the Mykonos guide that it’s per room. It took me to get our travel agent to contact them to rectify the issue.Lastly, their breakfast service starts at 7:30am. Our shuttle pick up to the airport was 7:30, so we asked the day before for breakfast box, but it’s a “can’t do that” hotel.Mykonos in general is a bit more pricey than Paros & Santorini.
