Spectacular view from private pool room

    rating22 Sept 2025

Drivers and bell staff very friendly on check in and quick to serve. Fabulous room with private pool. It's NOT heated and is freezing cold. Hubby dipped in quickly once to say we did. Sad. The room is very spacious and well appointed.Magnifying mirror for convenence. Fridge with minibar, but only thing included is water and 4 coffee pods. Water is replaced daily, but once coffee is gone, it's another charge. We were 3 adults for 3 days. Kinda dissappointing. Resort feels a little secluded. Hotel front desk staff told me the public bus was "far" when I inquired but it's just at the Mimi mart at the bottom of the hill! Hotel drivers wanted 53 euros per car to go to town. The pubic bus runs every 1/2 hour for 2 euros each. Beautiful coach lines. Highly recommend! Town is well worth the trip. Lots to see, shop and eat.Note: the planes fly directly over this hotel and is quite loud when they do so..The buffet breakfast had a wide variety for all, lots of fresh friuts, nuts, cheeses, and the like. FYI fried eggs and bacon etc were served luke warm to cold.

    Be aware!

    rating28 Jul 2025

My booking with TripAdvisor was for a standard room. The place looked beautiful until I checked in and was taken to an outdoor manage room labeled camping experience which was NOT what I had reserved. No AC, communal bathrooms… when I tried talking to reception about this, they tried to convince me that this is what I requested. A standard room is not a camping experience. I cancelled and went to the next door hotel. Be aware!!

    Disappointed- definitely not paradise

    rating17 Jun 2025

We had high hopes for Paradise Beach Resort based on its description, but our stay was a major letdown. To start, the room was in poor condition. The bedsheets were dirty, and there were ants and bugs on the bed. We even woke up with bug bites on our ankles. There was no TV, the shower was extremely small, and to make matters worse, the room lacked basic amenities—no shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, or even a dental kit. For a place calling itself a resort, this was really unacceptable. The beach situation was even worse. The listing makes it sound like you have easy access to the beach, but when we arrived, we were told we had to pay 25 euros just to use the beach beds. We said we didn’t want to use the beds and just wanted to sit on the sand, but a staff member named Antwone told us we couldn’t even access the beach at all unless we paid. That is straight-up false advertising. The staff overall were not friendly or helpful, and it felt like they didn’t care whether we were comfortable or not. We also checked out the so-called beach club, which they claimed was always packed and full of energy. When we went at midnight, there were only five people there. It felt like they use old or misleading footage to promote it.Overall, we didn’t like the hotel one bit. It was uncomfortable, misleading, and overpriced for what it offers. We would not recommend Paradise Beach Resort to anyone.

    Paradise Beach, Lagos. March 2025

    rating27 Mar 2025

Went to spend the day at the beach via Paradise Beach Resort. There is free parking. Entrance fee was N2k per person (week day rate) and we paid N5k for bringing our own food and drink. Inside, the resort was nice. Furniture and turf were new. The toilet facilities were poor; taps were not working, seats were broken! The seating area by the beach was OK. You could relax in the shade and watch the ocean. This was the best part. The beach was relatively clean; there was rubbish under the stairs and in piles in some places. The horse jockeys were a bunch of area boys and were quarrelling among themselves. Worst of all the horses were visibly mal nourished. There were a few beggars on the beach but security asked them to move along.Best time to go is week day. Bring carrots or oats for the horses if possible.Staff are polite and caring.

Awful experience at beach club party

    rating12 Oct 2024

Came here while on a group tour, and all of us ended up not okay within a few hours with little alcohol. We were partying on other islands and nothing like this happened. We believe the bartenders spiked our drinks, and one of them even gave one of the girls a free cocktail. She shortly after was puking and has no recollection of what happened.
