  The view on the large terrace/balcony is amazing

  This was a lovely stay. I loved the large terrace/balcony great for lounging in the sun. Looking out over Ornos bay with Ornos beach in the distance with traditional fishing boats and sunset over the small mountain. The room is large and comfortable, maybe a little warm. I recommend and will be rushing back.

  Lovely hotel and great restaurant, friendly people

  I stayed here for one night while waiting for a friend to arrive the next day. The room was spacious and clean with a great patio with a view of the bay to sun on. The restaurant Appagio connected downstairs was really nice with open air waterfront dining. I had the most amazing sea urchins there that they caught directly off the boat and prepared! And the wait staff were very kind and friendly. Amazing. I would stay again, thank you so much!

  Leftherios & his wife warmly welcomed me to a lovely boutique style stay. The room and view was zen - perfect for a break and retreat from the busy schedule of a international yoga teacher & body therapist . The charm of the restaurant and accomodations overlooking the water, the pet geese waiting to greet you in mornings and the kindness & generosity here by this family will never be forgotten.   Arrived and checked in immediately , staff helped us to our rooms which were large airy and adequately equipped with fridge stove kettle etc, amazing views across the bay of Ornos, minutes to a fabulous beach, balconies are huge and perfect for sitting admiring the views, 15 mins by taxi to town costing 10 euros. Restaurant below the studios is the best in Ornos no doubt about it, lovely friendly owner who really does want to make sure you have a great time, thoroughly recommend Ornos and the Sailinn, an affordable beach holiday

  Frustrating experience

  The positive: The hotel room is clean, and each room has a large balcony offering a beautiful view.We arrived at the hotel earlier than expected before check-in time. Understandably, our room wasn't ready so we were offered a (free) coffee by the staff in the lounge area as we waited for our room.The bad: We walked up to our room with a hotel staff member. The staff member opened the wrong room (there are only 4 rooms in this hotel...) we finally got to our room and settled in. We later decided to go to dinner at the hotel's restaurant (side note: the restaurant was very good). After dinner, we went up to our room and noticed that our door wouldn't lock while we were inside the room. We asked the hotel staff to take a look - they tried to fix it without success. They told us they have security in the lobby (they don't) and we shouldn't worry. After insisting, we moved to different room. The next morning, we decided to go into town. As we were leaving, the hotel manager/owner told us we must move back to our original room when we com back - a repairman will come fix the broken lock. He assured us that the room switch would only happen once we return to the hotel. We offered to come back earlier so we could be there for the switch but he said no problem, we'll move later. Upon our return, we were handed a key to our old room. The staff moved all our belongings to our old room (we specifically asked to be there - we could move our stuff ourselves). To assure us that they didn't forget any of our items in the other room, they opened it so we can inspect it. The problem is that people had already settled in. Their belongings were already spread out in the room. The staff invaded their privacy by letting us in and invaded our privacy by moving our belongings without our permission.Overall, it's a nice clean place. However, I expected more of a hotel charging over $300/night. I would not return.
