    Beautiful Property - Noisy Construction

    We stayed in the 700 block of rooms and our stay was ruined by the constant noise of construction: concrete drilling, tile sawing, hammering, etc. It began at 8 am and stopped at 7pm.Complaints to the front desk did not help. Refusal to relocate us. Front desk lied and said construction would not be on the next day but it did.I would not recommend this property.

    Overall a decent stay but there were a few areas that could be improved.Location: The resort is located further away from the main Mykonos town centre. While it was technically possible to walk into town, the roads are not built for pedestrians and there are several narrow roads on route which only the most daring would attempt. Safe to say we decided not to walk to town (and we are people who tend to walk everywhere). Helpfully, the hotel provided a shuttle service which was every 2 hours to and from town during the day. It would have been even better if an hourly service was provided during the day.Cleanliness and housekeeping: The room was clean on arrival. However, housekeeping was quite inconsistent. We stayed for a week and some days housekeeping would come in and just change the bins and make the bed without doing any cleaning or refilling of shampoo (which ran out). We also noticed that the dirty cups were never washed, just put back in its place...Room - we went for a room with a private pool but it wasn't very private as it was right next to the another room's balcony. You could see them sitting there whilst you were trying to enjoy your 'private' pool. We had a neighbour who was a chain smoker and it wasn't a very pleasant experience in the pool. The decor in the room was quite dated and we had an additional single bed in the room which we did not need and did make the room feel a bit like an AirBnB. Breakfast- There are no shops around the hotel so be sure to include breakfast when booking at this hotel. Breakfast was a buffet which was ok - nothing to write home about. The hotel grounds were nice and the main pool was huge and looked great. The staff in general were very polite and helpful. Value- based on the quality of stay and the rooms, we felt the place was overprived.

    I begin with the staff. Amazing, accommodating, friendly, helpful, everything you want on vacation. The food was great! The breakfast was quite a spread. A large selection of anything you can think you may want for breakfast. Even the coffee was amazing, always hot and just strong enough. Our room was always cleaned including fresh towels daily. Our room was comfortable and clean. The pool and bar area was gorgeous. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel, I felt relaxed and comfortable. Just thinking of my time there makes me want to return.Shuttle service to all the shops and restaurants was provided and always on time.

    Wonderful check in experience, bags taken to room for us, great consideration given for a knee injury I had. Room with plunge pool absolutely gorgeous, staff lovely. Restaurant on property had yummy meals & breakfast had a great selection. Free shuttle bus into town every 2 hours during day was great. Highly recommend although the steep walk to reception albeit short from our room was a challenge. Golf cart available for help if you need it I think. Positives outweigh the negatives!

    We have just finished a week's holiday in Mykonos. We stayed at the San Antonio Summerland Hotel. It was a beautiful hotel at reasonable prices, a truly excellent and welcoming place. The staff was absolutely charming, taking care of our every whim, and helpful about everything.The whole hotel is impeccably clean. It's perched on the hills, a 5-minute drive above the city. If you'd like to roam the island and the famous beaches, it is best to rent a car, but I would use the efficient four-minute drive with the hotel shuttle into town.Surprisingly, the restaurant in the hotel is one of the best we ate at on the island! The food is of high quality and wonderful, and the place is recommended for dinner away from the busy crowds of Mykonos Town.The staff are friendly and courteous, and I noticed many guests preferred to stay around the pool during the day to chill out from the crowds of the city because the atmosphere of the hotel is so nice.I would like to especially thank Mrs. Efi Stefanaki, who has been so thoroughly helpful and kind , and also the hotel co-owner Nikolaos, who was so hospitable and friendly. Of the crew: Vassilis, the two Aggelos, Konstantinos, and Giannis, Efharisto Poli.Highly recommendable.
