    A lovely family run hotel in Chora. Breakfast is delicious, with almost everything homemade.Rooms are clean and fresh - a must to on your visit to Naxos.

    We had a wonderful time at the Argo hotel in Naxos. The staff was wonderful especially Kyriaki she went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome and comfortable . She made our stay extra special from resturant , beach, excursion recommendations! We had a great time

    Full service in the port town. Easy to get to and then from hotel easy to get to waterfront and all the port town attractions, but is on a nice quiet street away from the crowds. Also rent a car through these people if you want to putter about the island for a day or two or arrange a private tour. They're the real deal, fair above board all you could hope for. The upgraded rooms are worth the extra splurge.

    Clean, conveniently located hotel in Naxos Town

    My wife and I used a Canadian travel company to book a two-week vacation on the Greek islands in mid-October, and paid the upgrade fees to stay in four-star accommodations while visiting Naxos, Paros and Santorini. We weren't disappointed with our stay at the Argo Boutique, a five-minute walk to the beach, and 10 minutes from the town hub including shops, restaurants, bars and the port for ferries and other water craft.Our room was clean and included a king-sized bed, a balcony with a table and two chairs ideal for enjoying morning coffee or an afternoon-evening beverage. Fresh towels were delivered every day if needed and plenty of hot water for showers. There was little to no noise around us in the evenings as the hotel is slightly off the beaten path.The breakfast buffet had everything you need to start the day. We particularly enjoyed the yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries and assortment of coffees. We found the staff to be engaging and willing to assist with any requests we had. The only minor quibble we had during our stay was the five-euro (one-time) fee to get a towel for the hotel pool and/or beach. The rate for a four-star hotel should include beach towels.I would recommend the Argo Boutique to anyone planning a trip to Naxos.

    Overall a positive experience. The hotel property and rooms were very well kept and clean. I was impressed with the condition of the rooms, which were modern and comfortable. The location is excellent. Most of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We enjoyed talking with most of them and for the most part they were genuinely interested in creating a positive experience. The breakfast was excellent. The quality and variety was top notch. A fun happy hour. Luggage storage available. We had a late evening flight and the hotel allowed us to use their pool and gym shower even though we had already checked out. This was a very nice service. Now, the reason I left four stars is as follows:The king, jacuzzi suite with a sea view was almost perfect, except the room had low ceilings, probably 7 feet high. I am not tall, but I don't like the look and feel of low ceilings. Our other room was the triple. Both rooms had very little storage. The two pools are a bit awkward. The roof top pool is not a pool. It's ankle deep, and was not unusable for us. The downstairs pool was okay, but not a place to relax. The Agoda reservation said ALL taxes and fees were included in the price we paid. Despite this, the hotel still required us to pay city taxes. After a few emails, Agoda refunded the taxes I paid to the hotel since our reservation included all taxes. The extra person room charge was 50 euros per night. I did not have an issue with this fee since our reservation was for 5 people and we arrived with 6. I was grateful to the hotel for accommodating us. The hotel has a shuttle and cars to drive guests around. This was nice, but the service charge was expensive. A one way 10 minute ride to the beach was 30 euros. We paid for this convenience.On our last day, we prepaid 25 euros for the shuttle to the airport. A few minutes before we left, the hotel said they needed 15 more euros because they only recorded us a needing a ride for four people, instead of six (the hotel knew we had 6 the entire time). They claimed it was a "misunderstanding." It felt like a bait and switch while we were in a vulnerable situation. We were faced with either getting a refund and hoping to get a taxi at the last minute, or giving into the hotel's demand for additional payment. Ultimately, we paid the extra 15 euros.There was also a "misunderstanding" about laundry costs. I have no issue paying the price quoted for a service, but once the hotel quotes a price, they should uphold their end of the agreement.
