  Misleading photos, unfriendly guests, poor location. Was threatened and locked in when we decided to cancel!

  The photos on Trip Advisor and other booking websites are over-processed, even the "traveler" photos - they do not reflect the reality. The real rooms are dark, with poor light and with views to an inner yard. We wanted to cancel the booking when we arrived and saw the reality, but we were offended and threatened with police when they learned that we want to leave. I was even sequestrated and locked with my minor son in their basement restaurant, to stop us leaving!!! My wife called the police, but until the police came they unlocked us, but after that they continuously threatened and harassed us constantly with phones, text messages and Instagram messages! They even stalked my son on Instagram and wrote him!!! We have video recording from all these events, we have all the messages and threatens, so we will press charges in all the possible ways.

  What can I say that already has not been covered. We wanted a local experience for a month, we needed somewhere we could escape and feel at home. Fragias Delivered so much more. We became part of a very special family who we loved and were very sad to say good bye. Despoina and her family, Lina & Maria made every day a wonderful experience of which we will keep in our hearts forever.Aside from the Fragias family and their kind hearts, highlights for us were the beautiful rooms, friendly neighbours, the breakfast, meeting other guests, change of sheets every 2 days, short walk to St George Beach and Old Town, fantastic sleep every night and the Fragias attitude that nothing is a problem... If we wanted a chopping board or some sugar then it appeared immediately.Fragias is highly recommended, not for 1 or 2 nights but for at least 2 weeks where you become immersed in the peaceful world of Naxos Island. Highly recommended.

  The hotel is family run. The owner, Vespina, and her family are very much welcoming and helpful for whatever activity you wish to do. Great and very good breakfast. Just 15min walking distance from the center/harbour. Highly recommended.

  Nice, family run hotel in a relatively central but very congested location. Excellent breakfast and polite owners The rooms were spacious. The extra beds counted as beds were of very poor quality. They have used every bit of space, meaning that the breakfast area was in the basement and too many steps connecting the parts of the “hotel”.Too pricy for the location and the character of the hotel.

  Fantasric stay, excellent hosts!

  A very nicely appointed room of a good size for a couple with en-suite, fridge and cookery facilities. There are two supermarkets very close by and there are lots of places to eat within about a 10 minute walk.The hosts were lovely and really welcoming, collecting us from the airport, giving us lots of advice about places to go and see (the hostesses home town in the mountains is simply stunning) and give us little freebies like a shot of liquor and their mothers home made olive oil. In a 100ml bottle so we could get it on the plane!The only slight downside is that it is a little further away from the main town and beaches. However, everything is very close by and they offer an excellent rate for a hire car or will happily explain the vagries of the naxian bus network!Well worth the price, would definitely recommend!
