  This hotel is very basic. There are no kettles in the rooms and no tea/coffee making facilities for guests. Our room was so small we couldn’t even move around the bed while the bathroom door was slightly ajar. Very little space to store luggage and the breakfast was mediocre at best.

  Dreadful Hotel just want your money, No decency at all.

  I booked this directly on the Accor website. Almost immediately I realised I had made a mistake on the date I booked, 16th & wanted 18th. I was unable to change this online but emailed the hotel directly asking for the mistake to be corrected. I heard nothing so I phoned the hotel & was told the manager would email me the next day (still no email). As I had to make plans this was not going to work & so I went to their online chat. I was told that I would have to re-book & would lose 100% of the booking payment. No flexibility or decency at all. I have never known any hotel chain behave so disgracefully & I will never use them again. £200 in their pocket for doing nothing (this also includes a breakfast I will never eat).

  Comfortable bed, air conditioning did not work. No fridge in room, at least you could open the window to get some cool air! Very small bathroom and main room. Breakfast was ok, but the result of plates cups and cutlery was way behind usage. Also, please cook the eggs, as the machine left out to boil your own eggs took almost 30 minutes to cook!

  Disappointing Stay

  A few days ago, we stayed at Ibis Styles Paris Mairie de Montreuil. The website stated that check-in was available from 12:00 PM—convenient, since we arrived around that time. However, our room wasn’t ready when we got there.As someone who works in the hotel industry, I understand delays, so we left our bags (in the restaurant, since the luggage room was full) and went into the city. When we returned at 6:30 PM, our room still wasn’t ready—seven hours later, and they were still working on it. Completely unacceptable.Breakfast the next morning was also disappointing: dirty tables, no clean cutlery, barely any food left, and the orange juice machine out of order. We only managed to grab a few croissants and some eggs.Most of the staff were unfriendly, except for one helpful and kind woman on the morning of May 5th. She was the only one who smiled.I usually expect better from Ibis. Sadly, this stay was a real letdown. I’ll be booking elsewhere next time.

  If we had an amenity, I wasn’t aware of it. The bathroom / toilet, reminiscent of Second World War Japanese facility, was just plain dangerous. It was comforted by the 40 degree ambient hallway temperatures, and tony room without functioning air conditioning. The solo clerk at reception needed to be awaken from his exterior smoking stupor to deny you a pot of hot water lest you bring him one - read amenities above. Dreadful but set amongst a suburb of less than quantitative benefit.
