    We booked this apartment through a travel agent in the UK. We arrived into Naxos Friday night at 6.15pm and caught a taxi to Naxos Sun Apartments, giving the taxi driver the address the travel agent kindly wrote out for me.We were taken to a small apartment building that was not near the beach, unkempt and with no reception. There was a sign on the building that said Naxos Sun and the taxi driver assured us this was the place. There was no sign of life nor was there a reception. I looked around and knocked on some doors with no luck. We decided that we must have been taken to the wrong place so we dragged our luggage up the road and on to the main road and hailed down another taxi. After showing him the address he assured us we were at the right beach and there was only one Naxos Sun Apartments. He then suggested we go back into the port where there is a tourist information place that could possibly sort out our problem. Another Taxi ride and we were back into the port and the people at the Tourist information place kindly phone a few places (this establishment is not a public service, but a privately owned booking agency, and could see we were rather distressed) They spoke to a lady who then spoke to me saying that they were waiting for us, she then gave the tourist place the correct address @ sunny beach apartment number 29, there was a key in the door. We then caught another taxi to this place, which had no name on the out side of the building and no reception. I then found apartment number 29; some on had moved in, I then went upstairs to number 39 and there was a key in the door, and no one inside, so we moved into that apartment.This apartment is adequate but is lacking a TV (but has the appropriate stand on the wall) and has an air-conditioning unit but no remote to turn it on.No one came to book us in or see us. We found out through some one else that the reception was a 5 min walk away at the Naxos Holidays HotelBE AWARE WHEN BOOKING THROUGH APARTMENTS ABROAD IN NAXOS - and make sure there is a reception at the apartments!!!
