Location

This hotel is located about 300 from Aghios Georgios beach, 1.5 km from the harbour, some 800 m from the town centre, and approximately 3 km from Naxos airport.

Facility

4 junior suites, 4 suites, 15 single rooms and 18 double rooms are available to guests. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and tennis are available. The hostel's location is particularly ideal for skiers. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, callisthenics and aerobics.     Wonderful staff but lacking facilities

    The Porto Naxos Hotel was very nice and staff were super friendly, helpful and lovely. Big shout out to Kelly, Kostas, Alex and lovely pool man Viktor ( sadly the older male manager we saw walking around looked like he would rather be anywhere else but there!). The breakfasts were excellent but I would say that overall it wasn’t strictly a 4 star. Rooms and overall decor and design of the accommodation were of a good standard and aesthetically lovely but my ‘ garden room’ balcony actually looked out onto a parking lot and I had to request a change of shower head as the one I had initially was just a hand held unit that gave hardly any water coverage. In addition the shower was over a very narrow bath with a simple curtain that kept sticking so not the most comfortable experience for me. But the staff did try to accommodate by changing the shower head to a better one and the water pressure was good in the end. There was an option to be upgraded to a room with a balcony that looked out onto the pool for an extra €25 per night. Also the Olive and Thyme restaurant that is quoted on the website wasn’t in fact open for anything other than breakfast when we were there. There was no means of getting a coffee or a drink in the actual hotel after breakfast unless you went to the pool bar which shut at 8pm. This was a shame in our view as the hotel lounge area was absolutely lovely and it would have been nice to finish off our evening with a drink or a coffee when we got in. Overall a lovely hotel with excellent staff but lacking facilities you would expect of a 4 star hotel.

    We stayed here for three nights in a Garden Room. This is not a 4-star hotel. It is in need of a renovation and upgrade. Our Garden Room, actually looked out onto a dirt lot with abandoned vehicles. The bathroom had a tub, with no grab bars, which made it difficult getting in and out. The reception staff were not that helpful, unlike our experience elsewhere in Greece. The location of the hotel was about 20-25 minutes walking to old town and the city center-the biggest problem was the vehicle traffic on some of the roads, due to a lack of sidewalks. The breakfasts were good, and the breakfast staff very nice.

    Lovely hotel in great location

    A beautiful little hotel just outside of town. We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time here. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and quiet. Our double room was bright, airy and well maintained. Unlike some other hotels in town, this hotel has a big pool and spacious grounds. There are plenty of sunbeds if you want a day by the pool, and you won’t feel crammed in at all.Breakfast is quite basic, and could do with a few more options, but there’s enough to set you up for the day.Location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from the beach. Depending on the time of day (and temperature) it will take about 15 minutes to walk into the main square. Carry on a few minutes further and you will reach the port and the old town. There’s no need for a car or scooter, unless you really want one, or you are travelling further around the island. There is a cool open air cinema across the road, and also a big supermarket.Really enjoyed our stay at Porto Naxos and would happily stay here again.

    Close to beach and Chora

    We stayed in the Porto Naxos for two weeks on our third visit to Naxos. It’s in a great location for walking to the beach (6mins) and the Chora (15mins). It’s also right opposite the bus stop to get to Plaka beach etc. The hotel is super clean and the pool area is beautiful. We can recommend the cocktails- mango daiquiri in particular! The breakfast is very good- lots of fresh homemade produce and the staff are super helpful, dialling out for pizza delivery when we arrived late due to a delayed ferry! We would easily return here as it was a good base for our holiday.

    Beautiful, clean hotel with friendly staff and amazing location.

    We stayed here for a week and loved it! From the moment we arrived, staff were nothing but friendly and accommodating, including the front desk staff, room cleaners, and breakfast staff. The hotel is extremely clean and gives a feeling of luxury and calm. The decor is light, airy, and all of good quality. The breakfast is superb (with scrambled AND fried eggs, among a feast of local treasures like feta, gruyere, and thyme honey) and the breakfast terrace is gorgeous. You can walk to the beach and Old Town Naxos in under 10 minutes and be by the water at Naxos Port in 15. The only feedback I'd offer is that the bed was a bit on the firm side for our taste, but I did adjust and ended up sleeping great. The rates were spectacular for the accommodations and I would absolutely stay here again. 10/10 stay.
