Location

This hotel is located at Saint George Beach, only a few steps from the golden sandy beach. The northern part of the beach has shallow waters making it safe for kids. It is very close to Naxos, the capital of Naxos Island. Naxos Island National Airport is situated approximately 1 km away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 15 rooms, including studios and 14 double rooms. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the reception desk. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room.     Nice place to stay

    Al Mare is small "hotel" with clean and comfortable rooms. You will stay really close to beach as you can see sea from your balcony. It takes only like 3minutes walk to Naxos central square and port is allso really near. Hosts are nice and welcoming brothers and they can allso offer you trasportation to port :)

    This was a well placed hotel. It was a nice location near the sea. There were lots of mosquitoes and at the time we were there the neighbours were renovating well into the night which was pretty Oud. The cleaner was a good worker but did not like us using the kitchen. The bathroom was too tiny. I found it difficult. The lights kept blowing but the owner tried to keep them replaced. The owner was friendly and very helpful. He offered information and service all of the time. We had a pleasant stay here for a very low price

    Vaggelis is very friendly and welcoming. He kindly met us at the ferry port and gave us lots of information about the area, including use of the pool at the Princess although we didn't use their facilities. Our room was plenty big enough, well equipped and very clean. Stayed only two nights on room only basis (due to ferry cancellations/departures) before returning to Heraklion. It is situated just a few minutes walk from a lovely beach and very safe bathing, with tavernas right on the beach providing excellent breakfasts and more. Everything you need is within walking distance and the Old Market was a delightful find with a labyrinth of narrow alleys offering various delights, including hidden away traditional tavernas. Overall I would recommend this accommodation as being very good value for money which is what we wanted. We've certainly paid more for a lot less on other Greek islands. Vaggelis also arranged for us to be transferred to the ferry port for our departure. If only we could have stayed longer......

    The hospitality was very good, anything we needed he was ready to help us.The room big comfortable, and if you go for the studios you will fell like a king.The owner also baked for as some pastry! If you want something close enough to walk the alleys, and far enough to hear the sound of silents + walking distance to the beach this is the place.

    We booked through Hotels.com and received an email from the owner offering to collect us from the ferry. On reaching the hotel he explained about the area and organised an island tour for us. We were given a roof top room with terrace, one double bed and one single. The owner also has a more upmarket hotel just ten minutes walk away called Princess at which we were allowed to use the pool with Jacuzzi. We paid a budget price but received a larger room than on the other islands in our tour. We didn't see the other rooms but the place is clean and freshly painted. 2 minutes walk to the beach. Good budget hotel but if you want luxury then check out the Princess www.princessofnaxos.com
