    I had a great experience here! The hotel is nice and the staff are so sweet and helpful! It was the perfect location with a short walk to the beach and they even helped us figure out a bus to the town. The room was a great size and good value for the weekend. It was very quiet and peaceful. The towels were kind of rough but that’s the only complaint. I had a great stay!     Andreas & Mary are the most incredibly warm & helpful hosts. The property is stunning! Every room is slightly different but all are beautifully constructed. The entire property is meticulously maintained. It truly is as beautiful as their website photos. If you fly into Naxos, pre-arrange a taxi (25 euros) to the hotel. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine. Each of our rooms had a Nespresso machine (not shown in website photos).The location is perfect. It's a 6 minute walk to the bus (to the port). Buy bus tickets at the hotel desk. It's an easy 8 minute walk to the best part of the best beach. We had to reschedule a couple of pre-booked activities (due to high winds), and Andreas was amazing (see him in website photo 26/123). We needed a pharmacy on a Sunday morning. Andreas made call after call to find one that was open and had what we needed. The breakfast was shockingly HUGE. The food was delicious and there was just SO much of it. It starts at 8:30, but we had an early excursion, they accommodated 6 of us with breakfast at 7am. We felt so warmly welcomed and cared for throughout our 4 night stay. Every afternoon/evening when we returned to the property we were welcomed back like family.     A beautiful family run resort. Spacious rooms, Hugh patios with ocean views. Fantastic breakfast. Walking distance to beach and bus- family owners were so accommodating and helpful. Can’t say enough great things about this hotel.     Such a pleasant and peaceful place to be! All of the family and staff were so welcoming and friendly! The Hotel and pool are spotless! So close to town and the beach!! Both sunsets and sunrises to be seen!! So thankful to have chosen Hotel Proteas out of so many choices!!     Spotlessly clean hotel with a fantastic location, just a short walk to the beach and restaurants.
