  If I could give a zero rating I would… the apartment is described as luxury, however the apartment is the opposite of luxury. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very rude unhygienic man who took us to our room. The room was located in the basement where it was in staff quarters, dirty, unhygienic and loud as the laundry was done there. The apartment was full of flies and during our short stay here members of our party had many fly bites.We asked the man if there was another room away from staff quarters where he rudely said no and we get what we pay for. The room was nothing described in the pictures which is very misleading. The man was very rude and made us feel uncomfortable so we did not sleep here. We booked through booking.com and we were still charged for our stay here which was even more disappointing.

  My 18year old daughter was travelling around Greece and a couple of days before arriving at Simos, they cancelled for no reason and left her completely stranded. We tried contacting them but they completely ignored all our messages. Booking.com emailed and called them but they also ignored them. We had to go and find her a new place to stay last minute which at that time, cost her double to price. Do not stay here, they can’t be trusted and have awful service.

  Disappointed as we booked somewhere else

  As several other comments, we booked somewhere else in the old city and were “invited” to go at Studios Simos.The location is near the beach, 20mn walk from the city.Our room was ok for the budget, even though the shower is not correctly equipped which means there is water everywhere and they don’t change the towels used on the floor. Plus, the woman in charge on site was not very nice nor polite, and they make a lot of noise each morning, which is very unpleasant for guests while on vacation. Also they didn’t allow us to pay by card.Ok for small budgets.

  We stayed in Simos for 4 nights and were very happy with the accomadation. Room was dated but clean and we found the staff very helpful. Short walk to town and to the beach. Also check out Heaven's Cafe if you do stay here as it is just around the corner and does great breakfast!

  It's grim in the basement1

  We booked in for one night as we couldn't extend our stay at our previous accommodation. Thankfully this was only for a night and we literally just slept there and left early.We had a basement room, so it is possible other rooms are nicer. Of course this means our outside space had a nice wall view with the air conditioning blowing the warm air on to us. Handy for for those hot sunny days.The beds had seen better days, as had the sheets. The fridge and cooking equipment was something out of the 1980s and so we barely used them.There were no staff around when we arrived (admittedly a bit later than we had said due to our boat trip being late back) we did manage to contact them but it appeared there was no-one on site, and the entrance was as obvious as others in the area.They do offer a port pick up/drop off and share this with Irene Studio which is helpful but the times are limited.If you need somewhere for a night and don't want to spend a lot of money go for it, I would not stay here for any great length of time, however in a different room perhaps you would have a better experience. Certainly don't yourself booked in the basement rooms.
