    Historical

    rating08 Apr 2026

We stayed at this hotel as part of a road trip with friends, and it turned out to be a particularly special stop for us. One of our group actually began his career in hospitality here decades ago, working as a waiter. Hearing his stories of learning the trade in this very place, before going on to become a highly successful UK hotelier, added a real sense of occasion to the stay. Having experienced it for ourselves, we can absolutely see why it left such a lasting impression on him. The service was impeccable throughout, attentive, polished, and delivered with a natural ease that reflects genuine hospitality rather than something forced. The rooms were fantastic, beautifully presented, comfortable, and in keeping with the quality you hope for in a setting like this. The views were equally impressive, adding to the overall sense of being somewhere quite special. For those travelling by car, the parking was also a real plus, making it an ideal stop on a road trip without any of the usual hassle. All in all, a memorable stay, made even more meaningful by the personal connection and history.

I would rate it more than 10 if I could!

My stay at the Grandhotel Belvédère was exceptional. Hotel Manager Tina and Event Manager Tanya run a fantastic hotel, and their entire team reflects that leadership. The front office staff — Lotte, Alina, and Helena — were warm and efficient, and both João’s as chauffeurs were prompt and accommodating.Service in the restaurants was outstanding: Jenny and Ariana in Voila, Ioannis and Nikos in Romeo & Juliet, and Marvin at the bar, where nightly piano music created the perfect atmosphere. The rooms were spotless, and the housekeeping team — kudos to Linda — provided thoughtful turndown service with Toblerone chocolates. The breakfast buffet was extensive, delicious, and offered excellent service. This was my first trip to Europe, and as someone who has worked in hotel and event sales, I recognize superior service — this hotel delivers it at every turn. The property is gorgeous, close to ski lifts, shopping, and dining, though the hotel’s own restaurants are some of the best meals I’ve had anywhere. I even started offering Swiss chocolate to guests in my own home after experiencing their hospitality. A truly memorable stay.

Four star good. Not five star great.

    rating03 Apr 2026

This is a nice 4 star hotel that has seen its day. It is promoted as 5 star, but it's not:Room - nice but in need of refreshing. Spa - Small gym, Hot tub warm/not hot, Saima and Steam room are goodBreakfast - good. All self serve buffet. No chef making special orders. Nothing unusually special. Bar - decent but nothing special. Restaurant - the best part. Food at Voila was very good.

    Truly a 10 out of 10!

    rating21 Mar 2026

This hotel was absolutely awesome. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Tanya, Tina and their team went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. (Ski passes can be purchased right at the front desk). Ioannis and Nikos at Romeo&Julia made eating at their place a fun experience. Marvin at the bar was fantastic. He made our Apré ski and after dinner drinks a fun experience. In all our travels, we have never seen such an impressive breakfast buffet. The choices were endless, there was truly something for everyone, not to speak of the endless supply of cappuccinos. The central location is perfect for shopping, bars and restaurants...if the ones in the hotel aren't enough for you. The shuttle service to the ski lifts is seemliness, efficient and high end. Both, Joao's drivers were awesome! Our next ski trip will definitely bring us back to this hotel. We can highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a first-class vacation in the Swiss Alps.

The Best Cocktails in Graubünden ...Thanks to Marvin

    rating11 Mar 2026

We travel a lot and make a point of visiting the top bars wherever we go, so it takes something truly exceptional for us to be impressed. Marvin is incredibly knowledgeable, he mixes the best cocktails we’ve had anywhere in Graubünden and he elevated the whole experience with his skill and personality. It was so good we came back for more the next day. 🍸 We genuinely hope to meet him again on a future visit.Highly recommended!
