  Very small room no storage & poor lighting

  Was not quite what we expected. We booked a superior room and ended up with a very small room with no storage space to put anything. No draws to store undergarments etc . Small open wardrobe with 5 hangers not enough space for 2 people so we lived out of our suitcase. Bathroom again no storage to put make bag or toiletries bag, except on edge of bath were they got wet when shower was on, so not an ideal place to store. Being short I could just about see the bathroom mirror. Lighting was minimal & very poor which made the room look dark. In Google it mentioned a bar & a sauna & rooftop terrace. However due to the weather we were not interested in the terrace. But never saw a bar which you would assume to be in ground floor, & no mention of a sauna by staff. The hotel was under renovation on 1st & 2nd floor Good points Bed was rally comfortable staff were friendly.

  This was our 7th visit at this hotel and if Paris was not so far from home, we would visit more often. It's well situated, quiet, clean and the staff are all friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is amazing with something for everyone's taste. It's walking distance from the Louvre, le Palais Garnier, les Galeries Lafayette and many good restaurants. But what makes us come back is how everyone wants to make sure you're enjoying your stay and how they make us feel special. Once you get to know all these friendly people, you will also want to come back. I highly recommend.

  A lovely boutique style hotel that was in a brilliant location . It was central for the Louvre , the Seine, Notre Dame and more . Lots of excellent restaurants in the area. The staff were friendly . The room was comfortable although not enough space for clothes to be put away and the breakfast was just enough for the start of the day . A good stay

  AS A TRAVEL AGENT I WOULD LIKE TO WRITE THIS REVIEW JUST TO WARN OTHER TRAVEL AGENCIES.YESTERDAY WE BOOKED 2 ROOMS FROM OUR SYSTEM FOR OUR CUSTOMERS BECAUSE WE GOT THE AVAILIBILITY. WE RECEIVED THE CONFIRMATIONS AND CALLED HOTEL TO RECONFIRM.THE LADY(!) TOLD US THEY HAD ONLY 1 ROOM SO WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET THE SECOND ROOM. I TOLD HER I HAVE CONFIRMATIONS FOR BOTH ROOMS BUT1st, SHE TOLD ME IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE,2nd, SHE TOLD WE SENT HER THE FAKE VOUCHER,3rd, SHE LOUGHED AT THE SITUATION,4th, SHE TOLD ME TO FIND A SOLUTION BY MYSELF5th, WE COULD NOT FIND A SOLUTION6th, WE WANTED TO CANCEL THE ONE THEY CONFIRMED BUT BECAUSE IT WAS NONREFUNDABLE, THEY DID NOT AGREE TO CANCEL AND WE LOST OUR MONEY.As a result, we lost money, could not get 2 rooms, had to book alternative hotel.After all these situations, the main thing made me crazy is that lady(!) loughed at the issue with confidence. If she was infront of me of course she would not dare to do it but that weak bit.h thinks playing with people on the phone is her right.Anyway i also wanted to talk someone who feels responsibility but they all vanished.NEVER EVER BOOK THIS HOTEL BECAUSE THEY ALL HAVE FAKE BEHAVIOURS AND COVER THEIR MISTAKES BUT BLAMING YOU. SELECT ANOTHER PROPERTY INSTEAD OF THIS HOTEL FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS SO NOBODY WILL THREAT YOU LIKE A PIECE OF SHT Florence Caresmel, Propriétaire at Hotel Golden Tulip Opera De Noailles, responded to this review Sir, As a travel agent, you did not do your job properly, as a hotel, we provided the services booked but cannot make up room inventory on the spot the way you make up booking confirmations.You provided fake confirmations (with FAKE STAY DATES to YOUR CLIENTS), you only had one night booked via Agoda whatever you sent us was never in the system) and fake confirmations to the property to further try to compensate for the mistake you initially made and expected us to find you a solution as we were fully booked, which we did, you did not even reply to our alternative hotel email. You both talked down and alternatively screamed on the phone to several members of our team and myself. You were so enraged that you hung up the phone because you couldn't get your way.Somehow, you do not even have a business page on the internet, on which I would have been delighted to provide a review, as you did have to create an account just to make a review on us. I sincerely hope that your clients understood the length of your incompetence as a travel agent and that you provided them with a refund for the loss of time and convenience for their Parisian stay.
